Moonlight has had the BMX gap jumps in forest park since their first day open. They're practically the same size, so I would say Moonlight had Big Sky beat for first "jump line". Honestly, a jump line in swifty 2.0 is pretty stupid, it is flat and like 50 yards long.
 
true, there are certain runs that liftys are not allowed to ride, the members pay huge dolla dolla bills to shred pow there and don't want employees tracking certain spots up, they're still one of the only departments that get to ski everyday. plus you make 4 dollars more an hour than at big sky, get free food, and they'll buy you a pass to ML if you're still working for BS, lone peak pass son.

honestly, working there is freaking sweet.
 
gaper question: why not put those jumps NEXT to the pipe instead of IN the pipe. i used to enjoy skiing the uncut pipe
 
Ya i see what your saying but it was really the only place mgmt would let us put them because they saw that area as a wasted space/ eye sore
 
Unruh (head of mtn ops) also said something about too many lawsuits regarding people getting hurt in the pipe.
 
that down rail on the right in 2.0 is a pretty dope feature...I havent hit the new jump line yet, do they really have a 55 footer?
 
I rode the jumps today. They feel about 15, 20, 35 feet. Its hard to say exactly where the tables end because the knuckles roll over gradually. Given that they didn't have that much snow to work with (the lips themselves are very small), the jumps are surprisingly good.
 
this is super accurate. Also, the lips are lippy as hell, but that most likely has to do with me not having remembered my air sense yet this year.

Fun line tho, speed is money
 
Tried to hit the jump line while it was snowing pretty hard today, and lost all my speed with the new snow. The jumps aren't the biggest but they seem like they could be pretty fun. The jumps could never get too big in my opinion, but they should be fun still

Having the flat down box as urban on is really dumb. Itd be nice if the lip was the same height as the box so you could do tricks from the flat to the down. Its really awkward to get onto the flat right now. Just my 2 cents.
 
Well yeah. But itd be nice to have both options and its not like raising the lip a few inches would ruin the ability to disaster.
 
I love that you guys are taking input here. Kinda boss. Did anything happen with a park pass system? I remember that being on the table for this year.
 
really hope repushing those jumps comes out well. those are legit the worst right now. why not just make a single good jump!?
 
the jumps aren't horrible, but bigger would be MUCH MUCH MUCH better! PLEASE??? :) just one big jump? PLEASE!! That is my opinion, and that is all.
 
dude, go ski in minnesota, you'd be happy with the swifty 2.0 jumps. the ambush line doesn't look great and isn't huge, but the jumps are pretty smooth and the speed is right.
 
I was able to take the winch cat out tuesday night and all the landings are much steeper and longer no, all the lake offs are much bigger now i think everyone will be very pleased with the last jump. We tested them yesterday and the speed worked well even with 40 mph winds. hopefully we will get a day of sun to be able to open them to the public soon, this weekend snow will begin being moved into swifty and construction will start early next week. but try to get up and ride the new ambush line this weekend i think everyone will be stoked
 
Stoked for some good park stuff on swifty, and the new jumps look much bigger thanks thanks THANK YOU man! Cannot freaking wait to hit them on saturday
 
Yes i hit the first 2. SOOOOOO poppy and send you super high. the third one was so fucking big i didnt hit it. and wasn't on my park skis. but should be fun. I will hit it sunday
 
I feel like the last could use some more lip in it...? just a thought.

Down Flat rail , and big wall ride going in swifty 2m night and the hip could possibly be in tonight.
