Natives can live wherever they want, they just have to stop drinking so much and try to get out of their shithole reservation, hell their given more breaks than most people in terms of education.

Typical day of a badass American like me.

I woke up at 730 to get to my classes at 8 finished classes by 11.

My friend went hunting so he gave me some elk meat and I ground it up and made elk burgers for whoever wanted them in my dorm.

I worked on my homework while sipping on gin and coke while listening to clay cook until 6

At 6 I went out to a steakhouse with some friends, ate a nice slab of buffalo meat.

after that I went to a cigar shop and bought a very nice Stogie and smoked that all the way back to my dorm.

Now I'm here studying for a test tomorrow while planning out my next touring trip this weekend.

yeah I'm kind of a badass.
 
there isn't really any other first world country that is like this.

For example canada banned fox news, religious symbols etc...

America is the only place where you can really live your life how you want to. (of course that being said there shall be repercussions if you are a heroin dealer)
 
Just read up on the proposed banning, and I agree that it's pretty fucked up. However, saying that america is a place where you can live your life absolutely free is a bit ridiculous. Lets use homosexuals as an example. Sure, there are no direct laws saying that you can't be gay, but there are definitely factors that can prevent a homosexual person from "living their life how they want to". As far as I'm aware, only 14 out of 50 states have same-sex marriage legalized, and don't forget how socially acceptable it is to persecute/demonize gays in western culture. Hell, the word gay is considered an insult when said to someone. So why can they be overlooked in the "land of the free"? Or are they the exception?
 
I was being facetious, but since were on the topic we "reserved" the shittiest/least useful pieces of land for natives to live. Why would we do that in the first place? Because the government wants them to stay there and typically they do. But then we figure out that theres some natural resource there and we want it back! What does that make us? Stupid
 
actually today its 15. and marriage is just a title, you can still live together in a house and have all the man-on-man sexy fun time you want in any state.
 
But it's still enforced by law that they can't get married. What if it's something they strongly believe in? It's no different from the preposition in Quebec saying that people can't wear hijabs etc at work. They can still wear a burka at home and have all the muslim-on-muslim sexy time they want right? It's no different.

yeah and? no one is saying you can't dress like a total flamer or can't wear a burka out in public in America.

Just another reason why Canada is more oppressive than you would think.

This just hit me actually, people think Canada is very free because Canada is pretty gosh darn liberal, so if everything agrees to them, they have no need to see the other side of things and not look at the big picture of how much your country actually sucks.

Right, anyway that statement wasnt conservative. I was just making an observation that popped into my head.

I totes agree that america is the freest of them all. Otherwise how would i even be on the internet as a woman and have the ability to speak freely. I was just making fun of the flaws that america tries to hide.
 
seriously though, the more I look into canada's politics the more it seems like a large society of the book, the giver.

if you have never read it, its about a 12 year old boy who lives in the ultimate nanny state, but was elected by a high council to be given knowledge about what the world is outside of where he grew up in.
 
Haha I think you fail to see my point. Whether it's gays not being able to get married or muslim people not being able to wear a hijab, it's still the oppression of that persons beliefs. But oh right, none of that matters cus muh freedums.

Also, good thing you pulled the "damn liberals" card out your ass. You wouldn't want to seem like you're running out of arguments or anything.
