Are you interested in Aggressive Inline Skating? Look here!

there's others but they're all kind of the same shape. except M-types, and if you got 50-50's with juice blocks or create originals with g blocks.

well, they provide more side to side flex. if you ask a person who likes flex that question of course they'll say yes. some people don't like it. personally I'll do with very low cuff heights and v-cut if thats what I have for lots of flex. although it is nice to have some support sometimes. a nice middle ground is good.

I had those skates once. Pretty nice. I had them in too big of a size though, so I probably would have liked them better if they had been the right size. I would avoid Fiziks frames for a beginner though. They are pretty pointless, and will just add complications for a beginner.

i know they are great skates. i wish they still fit. the reason i posted them is i put them on aggressive mall and multiple people told me i could get 200+ for them, so im trying to sell them

I don't really know the market, but they are rare, even when they were new. The only way you are going to get that much is going to have to be from someone who knows what they are. i.e. knows that they were rare and expensive. They are still ultimately 6 years old though. Who knows.

thanks a ton man! my one last question is how long does it take to get the feel for it (not get good, but just get comfortable) I was thinking about getting some for the summer and wanted to know how much time I would need to invest before I started hitting some simple rails or jumps. thanks a ton for the help though! and 10/10

Man all this talk about skating recently is making me think I might actually have to bear the embarrassing and strap my skates on once again the summer...maybe..

im gonna sound like a noob but there are some airwalk skates at a big five not far from my house but they look like they might suck like the rest of airwalks stuff so are the do you think? or should i order a pair from a website? and +k for helpful thread

Don't get those. If you want cheap, get something used off Craigslist, eBay, or another website. Stick to the brands that he stated in the OP.

Those would be pretty good for a first skate. The only thing about the Cults is that they have the old style soul plates which are smaller than the newer ones, so they can make locking in well slightly harder, but other than that Cults are great.

how were those K2's?
If anyone wants USD carbon 1's, I'm selling mine since I'm trying to upgrade to the 2's. i'll probably put on some frames, I think I might even have some old wheels to keep you going for a bit.

basic grinds I can think of right now: frontside, backside, royal, unity, savannah, farv, soul, mizou, sweatstance, acid, fishbrain, makio, fastslide, torques, umm i'm sure i'm missing some. then you can do all of those fakie, switch, negative, true, topside, (might have missed one of those), and lots of combos of those all for doing just a single grind. and there's spins on and off too. then switchup to your hearts content.

I'll be selling 3 complete skates soon. USD carbon 1's, deshi ch1's, and salomon's. NOT NOW THOUGH I'M STILL A SCHOOL. gotta get dem new grey carbon 2's.

just learned fakie 2 front savs, fakie 2 front roy 2 revert out, and true topacid

yeahhhhhh

cabs are the most fun trick spins ever

I skate a bit and ski a lot. Now i need to decide if I buy some blades or a new skate..Should I take in consideration that blading is a bit like skiing or not at all?

i beg to differ... there is a lot similar.. you can either rollerblade like you ski like a lot of kids on this website do or you can actually rollerblade. If anything else it will get you comfortable going up to a rail or feature and be less afraid... like for example over the summer i tried to hit a lot of shit switch or in rollerblade terms fakie, and come winter i felt that i wasnt as scared to hit things switch on skis.

haha febreeze them maybe?
skating only feels like skiing if you skate like you were skiing. I went to my local part with poles once and I felt some sort of similarity. but normal skating is different. rollerblading with poles was teh lulz.

oh it was. you know how your hands move when you do different grinds? well the poles pretty much follow those movements. doing acids was weird. keeping them from hitting the ground was a bit hard, I taped up the ends though. I wanna try again.

As much as I don't want to post this. I did this once when I was younger. Poles and ski pants....

i definitely wanted to put all my ski stuff on and do an edit at the skatepark but I don't have a video camera. and do all ski tricks and afterbang the shit out of everything.

just bought a pair of xsjado avants from Shop task in vancouver. there unbelievably comfy and they just look dope when your wearing them.

Whats there not to like about our sport? All skills are ski specific whether you are spinning, grinding, or spending loads of time on vert. Its a fact that rollerblading during off season is the next best thing to stay fit and not to loose anything from previous season.

Ofc if you can travel between heispheres then thats better but apart from that I think just about any freeskier should give aggresive inline a go. Wether you are lookign to get more comfortable spinning both ways or get extra balance on rails and boxes inline will help you with it, just dont break urself whilst at it :D.

definitely interested in getting into this, will probably pick up a pair soon. I'm an 8.5-9 in nike, so an 8 would probably be best right?
