What an abysmal game for the Gooners today and every game for the last month for that matter. They are such a one dimensional team. If RvP doesn't score, they don't win; simple as that. I don't blame him if he wants to leave in the summer.

This team is uninspiring, boring, and utterly shit at the moment. Walcott and Ramsay need someone to challenge for their starting positions. We must have set a record today for most back passes in one game. Europa League, here we come.

I'm not sure what it will take to get Wenger to buy some players. At the very least consider loaning in a fullback so we actually have a healthy one.

It's so retarded what's going on at Madrid with Mourinho right now. Florentino and the mafia fan/press mentality there are just terrible sometimes. So it looks like he'll be back in England sooner rather than later. After he left Chelsea I always figured he'd be back to take over Man U when Fergie leaves but the timing won't be right. Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and even City if they don't win the league may all be looking for a new manager come summer.

Go Reds! They definitely deserved that game. Two lucky goals for Chelsea. But, it was very entertaining! Hope its not too much of a jump to first now for Man U.

AVB was stupid to sit back and defend and time waste from 75 mins onwards. was only a matter of time before we scored again.

think we did well and had some luck to get the 3-3. I do see it as 2 points lost, was really hoping wed beat chelsea after doing it last season there in champions league but we just cant do it in the league.
 
... if someone back in August told me the Toon would be 1 point out of the top 4 come february 5th... I'd honestly have deemed them extremely optimistic, and told them they were probably a bit nuts.

0-0 for tottenham vs liverpool. Both had some good chances towards the end.

Perfect result overall. Funny how the title race itself has someone become less entertaining than the battle for 3rd and 4th.
 
match was on espn2 today.

check it weekly, there's usually 1 match on espn2 and sometimes the bigger ones get put on fox.
 
i feel like Spurs play way too damn cautiously now that they have so much more to lose. I miss the first half of the season, so much more exciting.
 
Not liking the way AVB has the Chelsea team running. Would like to see the "Special One" back coaching the team. That 3-3 game was a great game to watch, Mata's goal was amazing.

fabio capello resigns...will be interesting to see if this has any implications in the EPL...particularly regarding a certain tottenham manager who's wanted that england job for years. But leave it to the english to change their manager months before a major tournament. The new manager will have 3 matches to sort things out. And one of those is against the netherlands at the end of the month.

With that said, in regards to the whole webb business...no one was extremely wronged in that match. It was just a poorly officiated match. Chelsea should have been down to 10 very early in the match, and manchester's 2nd penalty was questionable.
 
sunderland lost today azfter 3 straight wins, it was written in the script for henry to score in his 2nd farewell to the premier league

we'll beat them in the fa cup next week mind

also, tottenham are winning 3-0 after 20 minutes against newcastle
