yeah they're maintenance scripts...usually your mac does em every night, every week and every month, but if it's shut down during the time it's suposed to run the script (i think its 3 am), it wont do them. Get maintidget, its a widget available on apple's website...it gives you the opportunity...

dont buy memory from the apple site...the quality is exactly the same if not inferior to other brands (im thinking about kingston) and they charge you extraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa for example, on the apple site, going to 4gb is like 900 whereas i got mine for 320 normally, a 1gb ram chip is around...
