Take a class, look at the NWAC report, be smart, exit the gate and ski some backcountry. you can always talk to the patrolers up at chair 8 for navagation advice.

epic day! hit the backside/polaris. then skied first tracks on sevenths chutes. Then Pow in Tye bowl. Capped it off by dropping Blue Rock to bomb hole.

likewise, first ride on big chief to double diamond to backside.

Does anyone know when the backside of stevens will open? Do they ever state it advance?
