I have compiled a complete list of glaciers and parks open in the European Alps this summer.. I indicate when there is no park on this glacier during the summer. Unless indicated otherwise, there is a park present. Les 2 Alpes, France - open from June 14th Tignes, France - open from June...

    Rossignol dragging Quiksilver down

Some people are retarded. What does park skiing have to do with Rossignol going down, it's a fraction of their business. 99% of what Rossignol puts out are carving and race skis. They are a huge ski company and have been around for over 100 years. If you walk into 1 of the 298364458967349 rental...

Snowpark season passes way over priced....

SA is so much sicker than NZ. Cerro Catedral is like a huge version of Treble Cone, just as fun but 10x bigger. And it dumps so much more. And you have Japan-style trees in Argentina. I'm also headed to Les Leñas this summer, they say its like Chamonix without the crowds.

Snowpark season passes way over priced....

Snowpark NZ is waayyyy overcrowded. Obviously the price is related to the demand. If you had done your research you would have known the pass is only a fraction of that price if you buy it in april.

    Summer Ski Camps in Switzerland

You can just discuss a deal with Dre at dre@demonium-mc.com, he's one of the owners of the camps. You can tell him Michael from Zurich forwarded you. Just tell him what you need (lodging, food, coaching, ski pass, what dates) and he will make you a fair price. They will also be in Les 2 Alpes...

For the people who are doubting global warming

" In terms of skiing, all the worlds glaciers are melting." a very weak argument as most glaciers are remnants from ice ages and are supposed to melt.... what you are supposed to argue is that they are melting faster than usual.

Airlines charging $100 for ski bags

Exactly. Almost any adult person working for his money would not spend it on a North American summer camp. It just doesnt make sense. If you are responsible enough to handle a job, you can also handle traveling to NZ, South America or Europe and get far more and better summer skiing in for your...

    Summer Ski Camps in Switzerland

Les 2 Alpes just sucks in july because its super-crowded and the crowds are assholes (french and italian). Also the snow compared to Swiss glaciers, L2A is much lower in altitude, gets less snow to begin with, and is in the southern alps so it's much warmer. The park is huuuuge though, def...

Trouble with 360s. tried search bar

You probably need to pop more, and look at your landing spot. You can practice popping by jumping 360s off your feet. I first learned to do 360s really well after learning 270s onto rails because with 270 on you are forced to keep your eyes on the landing spot at all times. Once you figure out...

    Good parks/bc in austria???

Heli-skiing is illegal in switzerland, but it can be done illegally in some places. It's legal in Italy so you could easily hop accross the border to Süd-Tirol to get some heliskiing. Or go all the way to Alagna for some serious heliskiing.

    Summer Ski Camps in Switzerland

emonium has the best camp in Switzerland. They are also hitting Les 2 Alpes this summer, June in Les 2 Alpes or August in Saas-Fee is looking really sick. I cannot stress enough how sick Demonium is. From sick riding (Mikael Descheneaux, Seb Lounis, Arnaud Kugener, etc.. are coaching) to the...

    UK/Europe Freeski Camps

I think as a british person your best choice would be the British Freeski Camps in Saas-Fee as dom_rastaman advised. All the sickest british freeskiers are there. If you want to avoid your countrymen it might be smarter to go to Zermatt or Kitzsteinhorn. Forget about Les 2 Alpes unless you're...

    Summer in Saas Fee

no, sadly.. Basically your Saas-Fee pass is worthless in Zermatt and vice versa :( Getting from Saas-Fee to Zermatt is pretty easy by car, you drive 40 minutes to Tasch, then take the train for 5 minutes to Zermatt, and take a little electro bus across the village to the gondola station. If you...

    Summer in Saas Fee

The summer pass is about $900. The glacier only opens early-mid july so don't bother going there earlier. Zermatt opens earlier but the park crew doesn't arrive before july either. The park is pretty good, especially the kickers. The boxes/rails are sketchy sometimes. The pipe sucked last...
