so people can raise kids so when they exchange hands of a ski/snowboard filmmaking empire, their kids wont just turn around and sell it to warner brothers and cash out so they can show them on HBO. *points finger at warrens son*

AttaBoy Schmuck! Show these kids where what they enjoy came from. NS news is quickly becoming one of the most reputable sources in the industry.

Case in point:

Just getting off the lift at Boreal last night some guy made a reference to Warren Miller movies. This was some random 50-yo dood in a one-piece. Warren Miller's brought skiing to more people than anyone in the history of our sport. In 1947 Warren Miller was living in his truck in the parking lot at Sun Valley. He's still doing it too. Much respect Mr. Miller.

that movie papasteeze is refering to is cold fusion i think. Thats my favorite, warren miller is epic, and all the freeskiing wanna be gangsta thugs ought to give him his props, he made them who they are

wow! warren miller gave an interview to NS!!! i can't believe that. it seemed way too short of an interview though... if i had the chance to interview the biggest living icon in skiing i would have asked so many more questions. also, his answers seemed rather short and he doesn't seem to support freeskiing very much. (i think more than 5% of skiers are freeskiers)

yea i thought the interview was kinda of week. I think he is out of touch with what is going on with skiing these days, but its still a crime that he has nothing to do with "his own" movies.

NS has been stepping it up on the news front though.

The increased stories are great, but more pictures and more of an in depth interview should be conducted.

Warren Miller changed the face of skiing and even gave Poor Boyz the idea to create an all park skiing movie. BIG UP. This guy straight kills it life and has created a multi-million dollar industry for his films.
