aren't there already a billion companies called empire?

i'm afraid of freeskiing getting huge i couldn't care less if we get more exposure. why is that so beneficial? i don't understand. Money? that shouldn't be a motivation at all money can be taken away from you, the love of skiing can't.

seeing that target ad in freeskier mag. made me really sad to see the sport become a part of the corporate. it made me sick

I like Simon, even though he seems to be focusing to much on money I have always been fond of his skiing ever since I saw him compete for the first time several of years ago. I don´t think it´s really fair when for example Tanner is described as the most passionate skier around. Tanner can spend his seasons skiing backcountry since he makes more money in a month than most pro skiers do in a year.

Though, as stated above, Simon´s company wont be round for long. What kind of immature way of thinking is that? Comparing Empire with Oakley. Come on! Get a hold of yourself.

yo i think what simon is doing is good. and even though some people don't want it to happen skiing needs to get bigger or it would still have the chance of dying out. sure money can fuck stuff up but there are skiers that yeah make money but still love what they're doing. if someone wants to pay me to do something, especially if that sommething is what makes me happiest in this world then so be it. i'll be doing what i love and i'll be able to pay my bills.

you know what, what am i saying that sounds like a shitty idea. fuck haters.

fuck it simon. if you cant get it approved for 2010, poach it with one massive 540 then bust outta there with everyones jaws on the floor. i know cypress (HP venue vancouver) you can get in and out no prob. then see what everyone thinks of skiing halfpipe.

there's already an empire paintball company, and they are pretty big between the core crowd of that sport. Sponsor some pro and semi-pro teams in NPPL
