I have some bandits that are *slowly* getting yellow...seen that happen on other people's Bandits too..

some snowboard pants kick ass over anything made as 'ski pants.' but sometimes they have buttons/snaps/drawstrings on the calf that can be really annoying with ski boots. Worst stuff I ever bought was by 'Inside Edge' It started coming apart all over like someone had slashed it with a knife...

anybody remember waxless skis for downhill? seems to be only for XC skis now

If you're just getting a point and shoot, Olympus and Fuji are top rated. keep in mind lots of cameras take 2 batteries instead of 4. that makes a big difference too, in the point and shoot category

I gave up on miller after one of his movies had a 10 minute segment of some family getting ready to go skiing, then all they do is sit in a cardboard box.

don't forget the # of CCDs. you get what you pay for. the more CCDs you have, the more expensive and better the camera is. just pretend you want to buy one and milk salesmen for info. but you gotta go to a pro camera shop, not circuit city or best guy. they don't know shit

Alpine has a couple rails and a box now. huge half pipe, some table tops, and a big 1/4 at the bottom

Digital zoom sucks, its not real zoom. I got an olympus that will take 4 pix in a row... also it works like a regular drive, so you don't need software...which means you can hook it up to ANY computer with a USB port.

if he IS hardcore punk, he'll be serving your kids french fries on their way to go skiing. if not, he's a sellout.
