Zoom/ Pan Timelapses

How do you create those timelapses where it either zooms in or out or pans around? Obviously you slowly zoom in/out but i don't know how to do it without making it look all sudden.

you do it in post

you've gotta have a program like premiere, final cut, or vegas (not sure, never used it, but im sure you could do it). You zoom in on the clip say like, 120% then set a keyframe in the beginning of the timelapse. Then at the end of the clip you set a keyframe for 100% zoom. That's about it for zooming.

For panning you just zoom in say 120%, no keyframing unless you wanna do a zoom and a pan in the same shot. Then you keyframe the position. Pretty simple.

yep, pretty much, make sure when you capture the timelapse on your computer, you use the highest quality setting, so you cant tell it's zoomed.

you don't zoom when ur filming if you have vegas which is what i use then u just go to the crop feature thing and zoom in at the begninning of the clip and keyframe then have it normal at the end so it'll slowly zoom ouit
