Post your personal top three bands/artists of all time, or just at the moment, haha my top three changes from week to week, so here's mine...

The Mars Volta

Radiohead

Muse

The three bands mentioned above are all unbelievable musicians, incredibly unique and creative, and they strive to push the boundaries of their chosen genrre

Well, my favorites change fairly regularily, but for a while these 3 have been on top:

Led Zeppelin

Junior Byles

Sweatshop Union

Why? They've all got catchy songs that I can really get into, aside from that, nothing else holds them in their top three place

-Jamie Cullum - amazing voice and great jazz player

-Joshua Redman - good mix of jazz and funk

-Dave Matthews Band - They're always my favorite.

Led Zeppelin - Because they rock

Pink Floyd - Because they rock in a different way

Iron Maiden - Because they'er epic rock

Led Zeppelin-because every song they ever wrote is better then any other song anyone else ever wrote

Pink Floyd- most original creative band ever

alice in chains-dont know

thats two different distinct bands, except for all along the watchtower i dont think they have any real connections

The Mars Volta.....because they rock harder than any band out there with cinematic attributes

Placebo.....because they also rock.

Air....good chill music, yo.

clap your hands and say yeah! - catchy beats and a crazy voiced singer

scary kids scaring kids - some songs mellow, some hard

bedoin soundclash - they have a really good reggae/roots style and the bass is really good and crisp.

arch enemy; pumps me the fuck up

in flames; good metal and the songs i like never get old

chili peppers; for the mellower moods. always sounds good, tons of songs/albums i like

You lucky ####### at least live within 1,000 miles of a Mars Volta concert. If I had cancer and make a wish was to grant me anything, I would see them live.

The Rolling Stones - grew up listening to them and they are still as good as they were 40 years ago

Led Zeppelin - they just kick ass thats all there is to it, they invented hard rock

Eagles of Death Metal - not an all time favorite but ive been listening to them alot mainly because i like qotsa and they are some what similar, and theyre the only band ive heard in like 20 years that makes classic rock kick ass beer drinking/trans am driving music

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Because There dope

Blink 182 pre there newest album - because they were such a good band

And right now for me i would have to say modest mouse - just perfect

Current top 3:

Godspeed you Black Emperor!- Because it's instrumental madness

Tool- Because they are amazing

Blind Guardian- Because they rock so fucking hard

It changes constantly, I don't have a favorite band, just current favorites.

Modest Mouse - Greatest Songwriters of our Generation

Pelican - Huge, Epic, Instrumental Heavy Shit

Wilco - Can't Stop Listening to it

Mars Volta is the most incredible band ever in the history of music. They are unfucking real live. best drummer in the world of rock.

Radiohead is amazing. 6 albums and 6 completely different sounds, directions and progressions.

Controller Controller is out of Toronto and have a very unique sound. Two lead guitars instead of a lead and rythym with unique vocals and an incredible bass player.

Tool

Nothingface

Between The Buried and Me

All three are amazing songwriters and musicians, i'll never get tired of listening to them.

Children of Bodom-they play good music. period.

Atmosphere-there old stuff is a little better, but still sicker than any other hiphoppers that have made it to the level they are at

Old Man's Child or Decapitated-I dunno ive just been listening to both alot lately.

Pink Floyd-Favorite. Rock out music

Nirvana-Deep think about it music

The Kinks/Iron Maiden/Bob Marley/The Who/The White Stripes/Cream/Led Zepp-Depends on my mood.

this is definately a hard choice but ill have to choose, here we go.

1) Depeche Mode (best retro beats ever)

2) Hard - Fi (wicked altern rock i really enjoy)

3) Ima Robot (i dont know why)

Um

Peter Tosh (sick shit he's a legend, jah rastafari)

Pink Floyd (David Gilmore is the most underrated guitarist of all time)

RJD2 (Best in the game at what he does)

Pearl Jam just missed the list because of their mediochre new album, come on eddy, SING, scream for points of emphasis, not the whole song.

there are many others that are tops too like Geto boys, Shurik'n, Jedi Mind Tricks, Deltron, Teddybears STHLM, The Faint, Mars Volta, Bob Marley, CCR, Led Zep, Nirvana, AC/DC, the list goes on...

That's the stupidest statement I've heard in a while.

My top 3,

Outkast. Their older stuff I just can't get enough of.

David Bowie. Originality like you never heard.

Pink Floyd. A different album for every type of mood you could be in.

Honorable mention to George Harrison's solo stuff.

The guy is seriously talented.

Sizzla cause he spits hot fyah

Barrington Levy cause he does dank things with his voice taht most ppl have no chance of replicating or even doing at all.

Queen cause Freddy Mercury is so hot right now

The Faint, because they just so happen to be EXACTLY everything i like... electro rock for the win!

The Prodigy, because they pump me up and get me rarin to go

And DJ Danger Mouse, because he gave us all Demon Days by Gorillaz and Gnarls Barkley, among others.

1. The Beatles- they are unbelievable songwriters and musicians, changed music and society forever.

2. Led Zeppelin- all incredibly good at their instruments and good songwriters, could rock like no others.

3. Bob Dylan- very influential, songs are musically simple but have unreal lyrics, voice of a generation
