you are wrong. So much fail. and knife show is the TITS, definitely deserve an orange name. I'm flattered such an ill presence in the snowboard world would come onto a ski website.
 
ive said it before and iill say it again. the knife show makes the only snowboard edits i actually enjoy
 
What I said has nothing to do with the Knife Show, or the various wavelengths of light that are transmitted or not transmitted by a set of pixels on our screens. I think you are an idiot.
 
Interesting, so what does Line/TC get in exchange for allowing Windell's to use the TC name and your presence to attract young wannabe whippersnappers?
 
Oh my god, I'm sorry. I had them confused with Knife Party and was wondering why Knife Party would be on NS. But yeah, Knife Show definitely deserves an orange name.
 
I love how andy was just laying down the law in this thread, cuz you know what, FUCK Windells. one of those little shits stole my brand new Ignant when they were skiing through the top of the MHSSC park
 
Line gets footage from an ill park during the summer and Andy and Will get to ski an ill park... how is that hard to understand? I think its hilarious how you refer to their video series like its some kind of its own company, hahaha.
 
I want to know the same thing. I hear there is an Adult camp at windells in which you stay with the coaches or some such? Idk, someone here will know more about it.

I've never been to a camp but I live 4 1/2 hours away from Hood so I feel like If i had any money at all I would just drive down and camp and ride the public park without paying $2,000...
 
Its quite pathetic how ungrateful a majority of the ski "pros" are. you get everything handed to you from windells yet you find reasons to complain. all you have to do is go up on hill and ski with kids for a few hours a day in a great park. You dont have to pay rent, for food, or for lift tickets and on top of that you get paid. seems pretty awesome.

 
key word seems. have you coached a session? what's pathetic is judging people based on assumptions which is exactly what you're doing. It seems like all ski related arguments on ns are based on what people think they know which is nothing so don't be so sure of yourself.
 
i dont think he ever said he wasnt grateful or complained about what he and the tc crew have been given, only that in his opinion it is not worth $2000 to pay for a ski camp when there are much cheaper options...
 
End of the day, no matter what Line is getting there money worth even if they have to buy their athletes tickets. They could give two shits about having Windells pay them. They get their main concentrated demographic of younger teenagers (cause no matter how you look at it, kids spend the most on skis with their parents money) so they get to have their athletes show up and get the kids stoked. Which in turn, the kids all go buy Line's new skis for the following year so they can feel just like their favorite pros....

It is simple marketing and you guys all miss the big picture and think that a major company is stupid for not making windells pay them. If anything most companies in other industries would end up paying the place like windells in order to get that close to their target market and have that direct exposure.

 
And to this, that is being completely ungrateful because he is using the resources they provide with the "assumption by them" that he would in turn promote the program.

It is like kids who got every little toy as a kid for free and then saying their parents were horrible yet they still want to keep the toy.
 
again, he never said that windells sucks, or anything against windells as a camp. he said for the price, it is not worth the $2000 to ski for a week, his posts are an honest description of what you get from windells, and gave his opinion on wether or not he would personally go if he had to pay the $2000 himself.

that is called honesty, and many people appreciate that, including windells. in the end they would rather people know exactly what they are going to get. the goal is for the customer to be satisfied for what they paid for, and to feel that they received what they expected, rather than people pay thousands of dollars and be dissatisfied with their experience, and to produce bad publicity from these unsatisfied customers.

i personally appreciate andy's honesty, and if thats how he feels, then perhaps windells should take note, listen to him and anyone else's criticisms and modify the windells experience to change the opinions of the people paying, and those who are paid to be there
 
mhssc is way cheaper but the campus is shittier. mhssc has really good dinners but idk about windells. if you dont like the dinner at mhssc you can go to the gas station 100 feet away from camp and buy some. plus like every other day mhssc lets you wander around in govy which means you can get cobra dogs, which are the shit.the coaches at mhssc were maks gorham, jasper newton, nolan willard, shea flynn, and kevin malone left but he was the man. if you do camper staff at mhssc you can go for four weeks for like 2300-2700 dollars. i dont know anything about momentum.
