I prefer easy to ski skis that can still charge, like my yle, nothing wrong with easy to ski skis which is why I’m getting a +10 ullr , basically a yle, I also like bacons and outlines and love heavier damper skis like the b ops, commanders for nukin chop
for me I didn’t find them un responsive , I found the lack of pop to be in responsive, almost, dead, other than that, for such a progressively mounted ski, they are pretty dope in pow, chop, and groomers, not ultra easy like a marksman or similar but still pretty easy to manage, the 106 anyway I never rode the 11? Whatever width it is
14285481:Brayblade said:I rode the big horns on a demo day a few years back so i was on demo bindings at the recommended mount which could have made the ski less fun. I have a vivid memory of skiing some soft crud (snowed 3-4 inches the night before and it was skied out at this point) and the skis just feeling like I was holding on for dear life. It felt like they just wouldn't do anything that I wanted. My major complaint was that even when i was turning or speed checking it was really hard to feel how my skis were interacting with the snow. I hadn't had an experience like that with any other skis that day and I rode everything from magnus 102s to dynastar chams (even some stokli race skis). I really wanted to like em but i just had a poor experience with all the skis of theirs that I tried. Hopefully I can ride em again in the future but im not really seeking it out at this point
