So the fucked up the phoenix saga then?

I mean it's cool that they're making their own storyline so we don't know the plot beforehand, but why mess with an existing one?
 
the problem was, the pheonix saga was like 9 million episodes long. it'd be like cramming ten pounds of shit into a five pound bag. it just wouldn't work.

yaaa they're not pullin the whole saga ahahha duh.

but fucking phoenix owns. i think its cuz i hate jean grey's whiney spoiled princess ass so much that i enjoyed the phoenix episodes the most.
 
They could easily have done one of two things.

1. Make the whole White/Black queen and Hellstone club thing into one movie, and Dark Phoenix into the second, with a short intro to the Shiar somewhere in the first movie, or...

2. Skip the hellstone club and just do the dark phoenix part (ie she's evil to begin with).

Where Magneto fits into all of this is a bit unclear... if you're going to do this, shouldn't there at least be some sentinels or something?

It will not be good, when they include elements like phoenix, or sentinals, it crosses the humanistic appeal that the first 2 movies carried on from the comic. If you look into the history of super hero movies, the best ones usually do not contain the giant monsters, and epic space wars.

Not to mention what i learned from workers, Several directors fired/quit, funding problems, stunt problems, forseeable effects issues, acting problems.

Thats so gay that jubilee is in it. I agree that Gambit should be in the movie and this is why. Wolverine has always been my favorite character (and i still think hes the shit in the movies) but hes not so much that supporting bad ass anymore, hes much more of a main character in the movies so I think Gambit could come in and add some flare (yeah bad pun I know). Angel? Eh... I can think of a lot more mutants that could have been added other than angel. Im still pissed that Sabertooth hasnt returned =(
 
There is alot of truth to this. Look at the Batman series. All the other batmans didn't compare to the first one. It was far more believable, had a great story, and just kicked ass. And they didn't go too far out there with unrealistic special effects.

The newest one was really good too, but those same elements are what made it good in my opinion. It was more believable.

Yes it would. You set it up as he has the ability to charge things, and cards is his weapon of choice. Pretty damn easy actually
 
i personally followed the cartoon version waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than these movies.

fuck i loved the old cartoon series....seriously the dpoest shit ever.

i kinda wnana see this movie tho.
 
resurrecting this from the dead.

we went and saw it at midnight last night. it was really really good although it's way different than what i was expecting plot-wise. the effects were sweet.

make sure you stay until the credits end.
 
yeah i saw it last night because tons of my friends went, and school.

id rather watch harry potter, but thats just me.

overall it was a good movie, pretty badass and action packed, but overall it was dissapointing and thought it was just "OK"
 
well even the more dedicated fans i was with just said it was "decent" thats a good middle ground.

go see it if you are a fan. if you arent, ehhh wait for video.
