Yes I meant wack, however, Im not even saying its different than other comps, its just the scoring within each event that its a bit off. The judges are obviously qualified and know what they are doing, and we don't know everything that goes into it, but even us NSers can tell that there can be some lack of consistency of scoring here and there, and by no means is it easy, but there are some wild scores.

oh for sure, I definitely agree sometimes things don't seem right. I don't compete and only really watch the X games and Dew Tour each year. What I've picked up on is that the first few competitors set the standard/benchmark score or at least thats what the commentators say... that in and of itself can create a lack of consistency in my opinion.

ive seen a few live vids on FB/IG that make it look like the first runs are underway or something or it must be practice.

either way I don't know why im mad, skiing always gets the shaft when it comes to primetime events. gotta remember half the people that watch this still think of skiing as something their parents or their girlfriends dude while they get totally rad on their new burton boards.

Pretty sure it was based on other scores after that or something. They briefly mentioned something about their lowest and highest scores being added together to break the tie.
