Worst way to fall

you know that part of the side of your hip, like just below your oblique/side-ab muscles, i think its called the 'crown' of the pelvis...? i never get ribs real good when i taco, just that spot. fuck that shit.

for me its pretty much a tie between that and whacking your shin/knee on a support bar. anywhere there's little to no muscle hurts so fucking bad, and takes forever to heal.

Somehow caught the tip of my ski on the knuckle or a jump when doing a straight air screamin seamen. Felt so retarded and my shin/knee hurt for days

I crashed into a tree cat skiing and that hurt like fuck, also sucked so bad that i had to miss that last couple runs of the day. Inside the park, I over rotated a backflip on a pretty big jump and that hurt a fair bit.

Dicking around in the woods I somehow fell and slid fwet first into a tree, I don't remember how but my head ended getting thrown into a tree

Had worn a helmet occasionally and luckily I had that day, almost always wear one now

I was pretty hungover and did a backflip on a large kicker, a trick I had done hundred of times before, but for some reason that one time, I forgot to huck with my hips, so after laying it out, I could just feel that I wouldn't make it around, so I try to tuck all I can. I get to spot my landing just before impact, so I manage to turn it to the side, and land on my side.

Concussion and broken rip, that was a fucking bitch.

tomahawks can be painful

I've only tomahawked once but I was having some mild back pain/stiffness beforehand, tomahawked four times and I literally felt incredible afterwards. It loosened me up in the best way possible-probably not a typical experience though.

I once caught my edge on a rail (this is before I knew about defining) and ended up cracking a couple ribs. This is why I'm still kind of a bitch when it comes to rails.

most painful for me was slamming my knee into a rail after the kink on an elbow. scariest however would definitely be when I've scorpioned and had the tail of my ski slam into the snow next to my head- surprised no one has ever died from that without a helmet..

landing your knee right on the rail when doing a front swap, also scorpion are pretty bad; I remember i could feel the pain going form my neck down to my legs.

Squires, Griffons, axials, pivots up the as sucks pretty bad. But the worst fall for me was when i was just haulin ass, caught an edge saved myself from falling but somehow got revertet to switch the caught my edge again and got launched backwards down the slope landing on my back.

The infamous double detach on a kink. This has happened to everybody, can't deny it. Still a brutal way to crash in east coast ice/hard pack.

coming in way too fast for this tiny cannon rail that my mountain had in the park, flying to flat and then just crumpling to the ground

Came off a rail sketchy and I was falling forwards. My pole planted in the snow in front of me and I as I fell it jammed straight into my throat right under my chin.

Getting that third buttcheek in mid-january... fall a couple times on a tube, or onto concrete in the same half-assed-directly-to-your-hip way and then the rest of the season you are butthurt

I set for flat 3 of the corner of the landing of a closed jump. Overrotated in to a flat 5 and went into nosebutter position. In the air i thought "i'll just butter it out into a 7". Both skis came lose and i went straight to my face. Dislocated jaw as well as a cut on my eyebrow.

If you fall the right way, going mach10 and catching an edge actually feels pretty cool. You're just sliding down the hill at 40 mph and you get like 10 seconds to contemplate your life before you can control your body again.

But #realtalk falling on my neck has always been the worst. I don't want to end up in a wheelchair.

I hate when you over rotate and your stuck at that awkard 90 degree point when you're touching down.. tomahawking sideways is never fun.

but I say that because I've never skied a half pipe so I have no idea how bad decking really is.

Was going Mach 5 at the end of one of the face runs at mammoth, hit a bump lost it and tomahawked four or five times.

I couldn't turn my head left for a week

Hit a patch of slow snow as I rolled into a flat gap down rail and caught my back ski on the front of the flat part and when my back ski ejected, I straightened out, slammed my kneecap on the front of the down rail, and managed to slide the rest of the rail on my stomach... luckily skied away without a shattered kneecap.

I have a top 3:

1) tearing your ACL.... Anyway you do it blows the most hard- it hurts, ruins the season and blows all your money on surgery!

2) taking a gate to the face while racing then feeling like all your teeth are gonna crumble out

3) Tanner Halls, "ahhhh I broke my ankles"

Sending a 3 in flat light on a 40 footer. Couldn't spot my landing till last second and was leaning super forward as I landed. Basically took the fall with my shoulder and fully dislocated it inward - it was in my armpit. Most pain I've ever felt in my life...surging pain for 2 hours until it was placed back in it's socket.

Wow you really care that much about what i think that youd go and do all of that? Im flattered

But why would I ask 3 profiles that are obviously your aliases

is not pretty

I just hear this ungodly noise every time I slide one of those. But it looks sick when people do it right.

My most painful falls normally are whiplash and hitting the back of my head. Also anything with hard ice, because ice hurts at all speeds.
