Worst day ever!!!

ok so today i went to mount st louis moonstone bright and early..it had been about an hour we were there and i took a fall on the rail and i hit my head ...so i was going to get up and ski patrol is right there like yelling are you ok , are you ok and i go cheahh..and then they check me out to see if im ok and they said ya im fine but one of the main ski patrolers says im not convinced that you dont have a concussion and im like no im fine its ok and they go no!so i was like what are you going to do im fine i want to go and there like no!so they kidnaped me and put me into they back of the snowmobile where they carry bodies and they sratped me up so i coudnt get out so i was like whatever i guess im going with them. so when i get there they take me inside and say do you have a headache and im like ya a little one there like omg your not going skiing i was like wtf...so they said stay here a minute il brb so i was like ok...so when they leave i just walk out the back door and start walking back to the park when a snow movile comes and gets me and takes me back ahaha..so then im in there and they snipp my pass and say you have a concussion and you cant ski i was like ya i can and there like no your not so then they tell me that i can watch on the park so i was like w.e...so i go to the park and i wait for my budds so that we can go eat lunch so i take 1 chair lift up so that we could go to the caffiteria and all i see is when were skiing down the hill is that there are 3 ski patorls after me and full speed lol...so we cut through the forest and go in the cafeteria...so were chiilin in there and me and me and my friend had to trade jakets beacuse they were after me so they come and catch my friend in my outfit while i try and run awy but then they caught me and took me to that ski patrol place again and took away my skis and i was like give me my fucking skis back and there like no....so later in the day i go in a steal them back and they catch me again like wtf and they say were going to charge me with theft and tresspassing beacuse i took back my own skis and i did one run without a ticket..so they looked me up in some room for the rest of the day witch was like 4 hours.....like stupid fucking ski patrol....they were so madd...
 
I read the first 13 words and figured out that you went skiing. This means it was not the worst day ever. also, you have a computer and are probably not starving, and you don't have aids or ebola as far as I know

tell them to give your pass and skis back or they can hope their lawyers are better than yours.

p.s. some people got pissed at me about this in prior threads ahaha but ski resorts NEVER win lawsuits

i knew a ski patroller who had to be a witness when a guy literally skiied into a chair tower and sued the mountain

that's a long sentence. But I read it anyway. And I don't think it's legal for ski patrol to lock you up. Kinda sounds exaggerated though...
 
nope wasnt really exagerated. i saw the whole thing. funny though.

the part they were really mad about was the fact that as a joke, when the ski patroller came into the cafeteria and found shane wearing kelly (thread makers) gear, shane booked out the door. that was one big fat sweater pissed off ski patroller!
 
So you had a concussion, you didn't believe or heed the warning of MEDICALLY TRAINED PROFESSIONALS and decided you would go ski more park and possibly go into a comma if you hit your head again. And are you just fucking stupid? You are liable to the ski resort, its the ski patrol job to keep people safe and keep people from becoming seriously injured.

So from your story i came to the conclusion that you were a big dumb ass and causes the "problem" yourself. Advice: Next time listen to people that know more about you body than you yourself know and you won't get "kidnapped".
 
You are the one who is the "big dumbass" Kelly is telling it how it is. he did definatly not have a concussion. The ski patrollers who checked him out were pretty friggin unprofessional. He was just fine and had no signs of a concussion other than a little headache. Yes i did talk to him right after he had fallen and watched the ski patrolers try to figure out what was going on. Im sure most of everyone here has dealt with power-tripping patrollers and knows who was at fault here.
 
If you're gonna make a large story... make it easier to read. It's really tempting to give up after the first few sentences.
 
It sounds like patrolers trying to be safe not "power tripping". I'm sure if he would have stayed in the room with patrolers, talked to them more etc and didn't just leave, they woulda let him go. Sure they said he can't go skiing, but you say "yeah im going home!" and walk to the lift. You're friend obviously fucked up and didn't take the right actions. How he got "forced" into the sled is a mystery, seems pretty easy to just get up and say "im fine" and ski off. I think there is a part of the story missing.
 
It's impossible for me to say who was wrong or right in the situation, or for most other posters here unless they were there. But, that does sound like overreacting on the patroller's part.
 
maybe he fucked up a little by trying to get away, but they really did force him into the sled. He stood up and passed all the concussion test but they said they would take his pass if he didn't go down in the sled. I'm sure you would be a little pissed it you were being forced to miss most of your second last say of skiing for the season. I do see where you are coming from on the other side of the arguement.
 
Unless you're friend is 5 foot and 100 lbs im sure he could have not been forced into the sled.
 
might have gonnoreah thought, but yeah i broke my nose on the 2nd run and they wouldnt let me back out until i got parents consent or something but i didnt have parents up so i had to chill for like 5 hours
 
almost everything the did was illegal, they arent allowed to help you if you say no i dont need your help, two they cant take away your skis, three they cant lock you in a room, so if this story is true you could threaten to sue, but dont actually sue, cause sueing a resort is gay, but try to compromise for a free season pass for next year
 
Yeah man if they help you without you saying they can treat you then its illegal. Unless your unconscious they have to have your permision. Thats probly the first thing they will teach the ski patrolers in any basic first aid course. You story sounds a little exagerated though.
 
You are so out of your element here. Heath is absolutely right here. You may not know if you got a concussion after falling, due to being in shock. I have gotten a concussion that I didn't feel for almost 3 hours. It's so bravado of you and your friend to say that the ski patrollers were being overcautious. I work on an ambulance, and I can say that if I saw someone fall right on their head, there would be no question in my mind that I would put them on a backboard, with a collar and head blocks. A friend of mine overshot a jump, and broke his back. He was in shock from also snapping his wrist clean in half, so he didn't notice that he had shattered three vertebrae. Fortunately, he didn't make any drastic movements, or he would have been paralyzed. If you want another example, look at Cedric (quebecfreestyler). He fell after overshooting a hip at bear last spring, and if he had gotten up, and said he was too good for ski patrol, He would be paralyzed right now. Before you open your mouth next time, think about all the sides of the issue you are talking about

You're killing the game this year. Why can't you be a civil person, like Heath is being, and just understand that you're wrong. When you say things to me like "shut up" I realize that you are too stupid to understand what I wrote.

Dude, shut up. If you weren't try to be so tough and such a bad ass you probably would have avoided the whole problem. But, seeing how you were "forced" to get in the sled, and "forced" back to the ski patrol hut makes me think you either:

a) have absolutely no body strength at all and you're just a pile of skin and bones

b) you're just a submissive shit head who then after everything happens claims you didn't want to do what they did, even though you just let them

or

c) you just made up a bunch of bull shit to make yourself appear to be "cool" on this website.

Each on of those options is fucking pathetic too. Learn to respect people like ski patrolers, they aren't "power tripping" they are keeping your dumb ass safe.

oh thats right you went skiing. oh wait?? and my mountain is closed. awww fuck your day sucked. i got to take a SAT class and im not gonna be able to ski for the next 8 months. sorry about your day

i didnt even read past the part where you said you went skiing so if it actually did suck, then sorry

haha and the liability shit on the back off passes doesnt mean shit =/

mountains can't even be insured by regular insurance companies, they have to go to GIANT companies and pay GIANT deductables and such

they seriously never win court cases.. its kinda sad actually
