Women's Slope Discussion

Probably about as pumped as I've ever been for a women's slope event.

Will the jumps be too big? Will Lisa toss a dub? What will go down, who's gonna win?

On tonight/early tomorrow morning. Finals 1 am - 2 am CBC, qualis earlier then that.
 
Seeing how well the snowboard women did with the big jumps, I'm stoked to see the girls throw down. I sure hope lisa actually does a dub 12.
 
Beyond stoked for this event, looking forward to seeing all the girls throw down. Super stoked to see Yuki Tsubota compete, along along with the rest of the ladies. It's been a very long road to Sochi for many of these girls, and there are lots of young up and comers pushing the sport forward. Bummed Maggie Voisin is out, but she will have a long career and most likely many more Olympic games.

Imagine in NS could keep this thread positive and not bash on girls for once? :) Let's try to keep this one upbeat and positive?
 
Sucks Maggie Voisin is out due to injury. She was my pick for first. Been killing it recently, would have liked to see her put a run together with the switch 10 in it. Make all the ladies step it up

The one I was most looking forward to throwing big tricks, Maggie Voisin, is out with injury so I'm bummed about that. Hope Devin rocks it!
 
Has she thrown one before? She absolutely slayed at X-Games and I thought she should have been scored quite a bit higher, but that didn't happen. It was definitely one of the more technical and varietied runs amongst the ladies. Stoked to see what she can do in Sochi.
 
So stoked for this! Anyone got a link for an actual livestream? CBC Broadcast is at 10 am tomorrow so not sure when real time going on...
 
Preach on... stoked for this, think I will stay up for the finals and be tired at work tomorrow. Hope they are feeling confident on the course and throw down.
 
From talking to a few of them most are combination nervous/excited, but I think it was good to watch the snowboard girls go first yesterday. Sooooon! :)

Jesus, props to these girls right now. First time I've seen the course in action and it looks burly as fuck.
 
He's obviously not a ski announcer. These live streams are run by the ioc so they're very broad annoucers. Get over it.

what country is he from? sounds welsh... i thought it was only in australia! but fucking hell double ski grab.
