Women's Slope Discussion

CBC announcers are decent, the one guy knows all the grabs, unnatural spins, dubs etc. Is it Craig McMorris?

if they are run by the ioc they should have sport specific announcers.. its a bit of a joke.

i thought different broadcasters had their own announcers on the live streams.

Sun is peaking!!!

I honestly can't tell if the girls just really suck at rails or these rails are just extremely sketchy..

I legit might have to mute it. At least the runs so far are pretty good.

But I also got my first real look at the jumps. I actually think they look better than a lot of slope jumps. Big, yeah, but they look pretty well made. Tables with long landings...

reading that Christopher Frankum, that has seen the training, said Tiril probably would have won. and Lisa has not done a dub 12 there, also she hucked that dub on a jump half as big, I don't believe she would stick it.Some 9's and 10's might happen, they will not look pretty... Rooting for Lisa anyway!

Maybe each network has a choice? CBC announcers are calling everything properly (as far as I can tell so far). Do you have a link to the Aussie feed?

Love the commentary.

Also who the fuck is Skyler Wilder, and Jason Stahi? Why are they experts? Get me on that.

I know its qualifiers but strait slides?

Damn that girl was impressive.

Pretty disappointed in the US girls rails, didn't even try anything for keri and devin.

I'm actually kinda enjoying these huge floaty tricks, even if they aren't as styly as the men would be.

sorry but why is that japanese girl even at the olympics????

find a gymnast and give her a couple of months ski training and she'd be better than her, and most others competing today.

"Through the section of tubes and walls"

The Japanese girl really doesn't look like she deserves to be an Olympic skier

Thank god that girl fell. I was scared to watch her on the jumps.

Using that 3rd feature as a jump is bullshit.

Only problem with CBC stream is commercials at random intervals. Come on guys, time them with breaks in the competition.
