Progression at Momentum is simply amazing. The camp is focused on helping you progress. They have full range of jumps from 5 to 75 feet to allow you to take your tricks from one size to the next. Unlike other camps, almost all of these jumps are step-ups or step-overs designed to eliminate the risk and fear that comes with trying new tricks on a 30 foot step-down and the potential of dropping to your spine. You know you will be safe. This confidence is aided by the on mountain airbag and wateramps which Momentum regularly frequents as well as the Olympic trampoline in the back of the hotel. At all of these features you will be coached not only by professional skiers but also by Jeremy Cooper - a licensed instructor in all three disciplines and coach to many freestyle skiers. These three tools enable you to make the safe and easy transition from the trampoline to wateramps to airbag and to snow on a full range of perfectly shaped yet safe jumps. Further, unlike other camps where the coaches are just there as figureheads, waiting to receive a paycheck or film their next segment, the coaches at Momentum are not just amazing skiers but they are as their title says - coaches. They stay with your group the entire day consistently giving you helpful and positive advice and tips. If ever you have a question about a trick they will readily answer it and will also perform it for you as a demonstration. The coaches are there to help you. They don't just lap the jumps rather, for example, when the group is hitting a jump the coach will wait at the knuckle of the jump to act as knole master and both ensure no one gets hurt and advise you on your trick. I've seen Frank Raymond wait with a camper for 45 minutes as the camper hiked a downrail trying to get 2 pretzel 2. Each attempt Frank cheered and advised and was perhaps more enthusiastic than the camper when the trick was finally landed. But Frank wasn't just content with one landing, he urged the camper to go back up and get the trick again to build muscle memory and know that he had the trick down. In the realm of Progression, no other camp compares to Momentum.
