If you read that quote from Ahmedinijad in context and not in a soundbite, you would see he is reffering to the creation of the state of Isreal, and why it should never have existed in the first place. Again, this does not matter, because he is a puppet. He is a figure head for the government, which along with the military is led by the Supreme Leader, the grand Ayatolla. Their nuclear program is completely legitimate at this point and time. As far as the nuclear program goes, they are entitled tocreate nuclear power, in fact they were sold reactors from France under the watch of the U.S. And it is understandable that they want to pursue nuclear weapons, their "threats" toward Isreal are insincere and childish compared with U.S. threaths towards them. And i would take a look at their weapons program more closely, they are no where near the capabilities of creating a nuke. The bandwagon assumptions you and many others make are what led this country into Iraq- remember wmd's- i see history repeating itself here. And its interesting that you are so scared of Iran having the bomb when Pakistan, a much more unstable and extremist counrty already has one. As for Palestine, i.e. the west bank and gaza strip, it is a legitimate state. Bush is the first president to recognize this area as the state of Palestine since the creation of Isreal. Please do your research before you post again, you come off as very ignorant and uneducated on this topic.
