Why is he not sponsered ?

Well, for one, good park skiers are a dime a dozen in Summit County (I would say this was good, but in today's world, not great). Really fucking good park skiers are a buck a dozen in Summit County.

Additionally (and not hating), his rail game is good, but the jump game is obviously lacking. The single edit conveyed a really small bag of tricks, grabs, and just general air versatility. Like I said, no hate, it was still good, but these are pretty obvious points.

Also, who knows, maybe he doesn't give a fuck. Not everybody has to attain, or even wants, sponsorship. This is assuming, of course, that his abilities alone would be worthy of whatever you deem a "sponsorship."

I'll go ahead and say this, i hate ALL edits from keystone/breck. I don't care who is in teh video, they're just so.... generic.

i agree on some level, edits from key and breck look all the same to me, i mean yeah theres an odd one that stands out but there are just soo many fucking edits out of these 2 resorts, i want to see something different at these resorts, have fun with the edit

theres nothing in that edit that really stood out to me..he's a solid skier but isn't really pushing it hard..jumps were lacking a bit too

i saw him lmost get his pass pulled at keystone claim/ hes good but go into the park at keystone or breck and you will find some insane guys who are not sponsored

Some people just don't care to get sponsored. They just want to go out with their friends and have fun. No pressure.

i should have just watched the edit, but NO! it wasnt embedded and I end up reading the thread...which wasnt entirely pathetic until my hero chimed in and got served by another 12 year old.

in the end this thread provided a solid laugh, im gonna go watch this generic edit that nsPREZ forbid from being embeded...whaT A FuckiNG DIckheaD.

with the ski scene the way it is, a person has gotta have a really distinct style of skiing in order to get spanced.

also, there's more to skiing than being sponsored. maybe that's this kid's philosophy

You need Original style, just look at jon brogan, kid didn't throw the most technical tricks. but he oozed with style. That's what they want. Everyone loved it

hey ya gotta give the kid some credit, hes pretty good, and anytime i get the opportunity to poke at you, i gotta take it

I mean, ya he's good but seriously there are 1000 kids who can do the same rails tricks at at least 500 who can do the same jump tricks. Do you live in the midwest or something?

lol didnt even look at your profile, totally guessed it.

there are 12 year old kids at PC who are better than this kid...

dont get me wrong..... he is really good but there r like millions of people just as good as him..

maybe he doesnt want to or hasnt tried to get sponsored

yes. could have been easily sponsored 3 years ago. nowadays, not... so many just as good as him or better.

btw. kids you need to realize that sponsorship isn't that sick. some of my homies have several sponsors and its pretty exhausting how much you gotta be a media whore or do good in as many contests as possible. Profit? 3 Pairs of skis, 2outfits and some goggles. Not worth it on the rookie level. the only sick sponsorships are when companies honour your uniqueness. f.e. LINE (only the pro teams) or SAGA.

The economy isn't so hot right now, so ski companies don't have a lot of money to throw out to skiers who aren't really, really good. The only fast track to getting sponsored is by winning competitions, and it's a lot harder to get into legit comps now than it was 5 years ago, even if you're a really good rider. I'm not talking about having an occasional 4 on or cork 9. Really good.

He could also just be a douche bag. If I was a company and the kid is a fucking tool/dickhead I wouldn't sponsor even if he is good

And I just saw the video and he isn't really even like that good. And another weird thing I noticed was he didn't do a blind switch up at all. Not that u need to just saw it

you have a fairly skewed view on sponsorships. 3-4 pairs of skis, a couple suits and goggles = @$5000? poor college kids dont normally have their parents dropping 5 gs on ski equipment on the regs, so this seems to be worth it? and just so you know, LINE is terrible at paying their athletes.
