Why don't line pros use the line binding?

because they don't like them as much, or mebbe they don't get paid as well as they would by look. I mean Look probably has more money to give since it is centered around bindings. And I have friends that ride lines that don't mind them

because the break and they are dangerous and they have to much play in them and they dont have a good solid ride to them also the line reactor production has been discontinued due to the fact that designers have deemed it dangerous.

the first ones definitely had problems,

just try to realize that line is a fraction of the size of rossignol or look yet it continues to try to push new ideas and improve ski eqt every year.

this years binding should definitely be an improvement on the first design, tests and changes have been made, and it will only get better in future years,

when I skied on them I turned the din up 2 higher than I do on looks and they were fine.

yeah i demo'ed them and they worked for me fine. if you want a real opinion don't ask anyone on newschoolers anything about anything because all your going to get is, "those are gay" or "those suck". don't ask opinions. just go demo some, write your own review and tell people to Fuck off because in the end most people on here don't know shit about fuck.

i got them last season... sort of regret it. i like my salomons more just cuz they weigh less.

i rode my line bindings about 20 times and they havent broke like i heard from other people. cept i had a MAJOR problem with them pre-releasing on hard landings, just upped the DIN to like 10. they do weigh a ton and thats why im gonna stop using them.

 
WOW this is amazing post i have been saying Line bindings blow from day 1 and have received so much shit on this site for it so i am amazed that it only took the majority of tou 4 years to figure out.

As for whomever posted you havent rode them i have rode them every year in the past and have had problems in the little time i was riding them.

So im happy to see that some of you have seen that there is no light

 
^ No one cares if you claim to be one of the first to hate on the bindings. Its a great idea, but you cant expect it to be perfect the first time around. Line probably shouldnt have released them to the public so early.

I rode a test model of the 05-06 for 3 days straight in loons park and they worked fine. Most people do not adjust the dins properly, they need to be slightly higher than looks or rossi bindings and the middle twist din needs to be lower than the heel piece din.

so next time you say there is "no light" please try the new binding first, it is obvious there are problems, but they are doing there best to solve them.

I have a pair of line bindings and they suck they weigh like twenty pounds and they come loose alot.

I rode a demo pair from 3 seasons ago for a season and a half, before I exploded it. Remember, this was the pre-production demo, and they were badass, until I crashed real fuckin hard fakie, and just nuked 'em. (These were the demo r12's, for knowledge)

So I bought a new pair. Fucked 'em up moving the heelpiece on like the 2nd day of having 'em..... cause I stripped the lock on the heel...... cause I'm a fucking idiot....... $25 bucks and a warranty dealie later, I had a sick pair of bindings. Rode 'em all last season. Bombproof. And they lasted through a couple high-speed fakie ejects, all I did was bend the brakes back.

The shop I bought 'em from was out of r12's, so I've been on r10's.........

I'll be honest, they're a little bit heavier than s912's, but not too bad. They're an awesome binding, and being able to swap them out is sick too. (By the way, they do NOT move around on the ski like somepeople used to say..... I'd notice if they did.)

I've been telling my little story for the last 3 years, and of course nobody gives a fuck, but whatever.

Just try em before you rip 'em.

everyone seems to have stories on both sides. personally ive never ridden them and never will, im not a huge fan of Line - and i love my looks, but anywho, my friend had em, and hates them with a passion, but ive talked to others who like them a lot. so like bangor said, ride em b4 u rip em.

they sure have alot of lift for a freestyle binding, that's why they suck, they put you 2 inches above the ski

actually im looking at mine right now and they put you just under two centimeter off the ski actually, 2 inches is a lot, lets not exaggerate now...

how much do the lines weigh in comparison to some looks or rossi and im talkin about accutal weight in lbs or kilograms not like....uhhhhhh their heavy
