Why don't line pros use the line binding?

You think Pollard is going to go huge and try to stomp it on those pieces of crap? Nope, has to use Salomon S916. Yes Line gets a lot of hate and props to them for bringing out a binding in the market, but don't sell it until it's SOLID and tested. The first gen were downright dangerous.
"I rode a test model of the 05-06 for 3 days straight in loons park and they worked fine. Most people do not adjust the dins properly, they need to be slightly higher than looks or rossi bindings and the middle twist din needs to be lower than the heel piece din."
Wrong, DIN is a standard, if you have to crank it higher on one brand it's because the binding is not setup properly or doesn't work properly (Line).
Bottom line: Salomon S916/Look P18/Rossi FKS155/180 if you are big/go hard, otherwise Look P14/P12 Rossi 120/140.

yeah, if you look at pictures of Pollard ski's you'll see he skis s916's.

They weight over a pound more that the P18 and almost a pound more than s916, and both those bindings are completely metal and don't fall apart. I can't image using that binding in the park.
Basically, they are theoretically a great idea that they unfortunetly haven't been able to replicate in reality. The concept, if they can make it work, will be great. Until then, if ever, the s916 and P18 are going to be the standard for great, reliable, durable, safe bindings that release when you need to and not when you don't.

^^ sorry i dont know a lot about bindings, i was just trying to emphasize a positive experience i had with this coming years models.
as for weight, they are heavy alone, but line bindings with invaders were very close to the same weight as my fujatives with look p14s

wrong, homeboy...skiiers dont have BINDING contracts. do you really think a big company liek rossignol or salomon is going to sponsor some low life freeskier for some bindings? not enough publicity for em, plus its just a waste of money.
they dont use line bindings, one, because line bindings suck, two, because the din only goes to 12, and 3, line doesnt make race bindings. race stock bindings, like it or not, are the only things youre gonna find that are goign to stand up to a beating. ive had my rossignol pro 180s for 3 years now on 4 different pairs of skis, and pros are still rocking em these days. they stopped making the design about 5 years ago mind you. so that just goes to show you how much better they are.
so no, genius, no one is paying dash longeto ride salomon bindings or even a guy like tanner hall to use rossignols. keep an eye out...he's the biggest name out there and he'll be on both salomons and rossignols this season at some point. so no, no ones getting paid to use bindings, they just know which ones dont suck.
