hey patg, there are TONS more good skiers that came from Ontario (hehe - I said came). Dan Threadway and Jeff Holden are from Ontario. Hugo Harrison is from the Chic Chocs in Quebec (right by where Cedric lives). the best jumpers in the world (yes - when i say the world i mean it) come from Ontario-Quebec region. So the east might be lacking in hard terrain, but if you go off the trail, and make the most of what you got you can have a kick ass time while getting really good (how's my grammer on that last sentence?). Sure you might break a bunch of skis while doing it, but hey. Oh, and one more thing that rules about the east coast is the population. There are tons more people on the right coast than the left, ya, that means more crouded runs, but that also means tons more people to hang out with on the hill and session the park with. Take NS.com for example. the large majority of this site is from the east, and a lot of those people have met and skied togeather before, and will more this winter. So please, please, don't bash the east coast. I mean, how often do you hear someone say 'west coast sucks, the real skiings over on the east coast'. Sometimes, but those who say that have just never been, or they're in denial. The east coast is a good place to grow up.
