Why do people steal icons?

Not that its happened to me personally, but I mainly associate peoples icons with their names. It gets fucking confusing when some ass clown, steals a creative icon idea (from a member whom I respect), and posts something retarded. Not that its a big deal to look up and just read the username and sort out my confusion. It just gets old when I see a bunch of Heath's cameras everywhere...

Do you really think that people won't notice? Just wonderin.
 
i know what you mean. Someone bumped an old thread and someone had stole my icon. I read the post reading what they said thinking it was me. I was all "I didn't write this shit wtf?" It took me a minute or two before I realized someone had taken my icon.
 
well, if some one stole this then it would mean the like Olivia Wilde too. I respect that, I would just find another mini Olivia picture.
 
Some ass stole my original icon so I had to change mine. Definitely made me angry, I associate posts with icons more than looking at the name, because I generally know who people are based on their icon.
 
I think it depends on the icon. If you will look to your left a little you will see my generic flashing Line icon, from Line's website which I have had since I made my account on here. Some Joseph guy kept asking me to change my icon because apparently he thought he was the only one who could have it, even though I had been on here over a year longer than him and have had that icon the whole time. Cool story.
 
methtime gave me his icon when he got permabanned again, and i was gonna change it back recently.....but i lost my old icon
 
well you can right click a picture, when its on the internet, and save it.

kinda laughed

ended up just changing mine after a little while even though i made the old one. i guess it looked good to the other guy.
 
i see soooooo many of those flashy saga icons, and its annoying as fuck!!!!

i have seen 2 others with mine, and gave them sooooo much shit for it and there all n00bs
 
quite a few kids have stolen my rasta-armada icons. first the simple jpg then the rotating gif... made em myself nbd....
and it wont be long before someone takes my rasta cu icon..

ive never seen mine anywhere and hopefully nobody will steal it, if someone does then nbd its an icon. only bad thing is sometimes the gun doesnt switch from one side to another like its supposed to do.
 
That guys account was an alias, I probably should change my name back, but i want just plain "evan" without the period, but i guess accounts cant be deleted so thats annoying, and ive tried to upload my new icon but NS keeps shuttin me down, it gives me this one back. i have like 5 days to change my name i think. and why are you so angry tonight?
 
I have the Same icon as billups found it on google images so did he I told him I would change it he nbd so it's all good
 
when i first joined, i stole someone's icon, got shat on changed it, and then was given permission to take it over when he "retired". now i'm stuck with it but trying to change it back
 
Meh, whatever. I've had the majority of my icons stolen. More flattered than pissed...

I like when people enjoy my art. Even mini-sized.
