Why do people get cats?

I mean i have two cats... But all they do is sleep, make me pet them, and bring me dead animals...

because theyre like mostly tame, tiny versions of lions. plus theyre independent as hell. i love dogs but theyre like half the responsibility of having a kid
 
I fucking hate cats. We have 3 that live in the garage because I refuse to let them in the house. They stink, you have to clean their litter boxes, they throw up everywhere and all in all are worthless.

We have on male that never got his balls cut off and he shits and pisses everywhere. I hate that little fucker with a passion and hope he gets made into a coyotes dinner.
 
I'd rather live with a cat than someone always making others pay attention to them with shitty selfies...oh wait.

why do people get dogs? they fucking suck, they just act like insecure, attention whore 12 year olds that smell like shit. cats are at least independent, are funny as hell, and much easier to live with.

I grew up with farm cats. They are almost disposable and their sole job was to eat mice.

There is a lady at work who refers to her cats as her 'fur babies'. It upsets me.
 
I like cats because they're assholes, it's really fucking funny. Every now and then you find a really sweet cat. But they're fun to play with because they're low key and soft and when they try to get away you just squeeze them and they get angry at you and it's funny because they can't do anything about it. and they meow. meowing is hilarious.

don't get me wrong, i love dogs, there are so many great qualities about dogs. but generally if a dog is really hyper or attention whorish i begin to get annoyed with them. cats have those qualities too, meowing constantly for attention, meowing for food litter boxes.

that's just how pets are i guess
 
When ever someone tells me cats suck and dogs are better I just imagine a tiger ripping apart a wolf.

That said, I want a dog.
 
You got me excited so I did research. Cheapest was 2 grand and the average was about 3,500.

Not even close. I dunno about your dogs or locations but we got two dogs. Literally all we have to do (outside of everything you have to do when you first get a new pet) is fill their bowl of food up every other day (because they have big bowls). That's all the work we gotta do. So easy
 
all cats are the same. they blow and just meow and shit everywhere. dogs are more diverse in breeds and are cooler depending on what you have
