we have a right to complain, this winter was a lot less of what our winters usually are. and don't go all you could have it worse, sure there is worse skiing but you know what? i live in vermont. and this is a skiing website, not too many folks from alabammer up in here. there's tons of great terrain on the east coast, i love it here. but it rained all winter. and even if jay peak (which happens to be in a location where they get a lot more snow than the rest of vermont) got a lot of snow, that doesn't mean we all got to ski it, we have jobs, school, and a lot of us don't have the funds to make a spontaneous trip up to jay because there's powder. the fact is there were not that many days to go out and get the pow. and when we did get snow, we usually got rain with it. so it was a relatively shitty winter for most of the east coast. that's a fact, a general comparison. yes we could be in the south with no skiing, or in senegal with aids ands starving to death, but we aren't that doesn't mean we should want things to be better.
