you must be the 5th person in this thread to claim you go to the #1 party school. There are hundreds and hundreds of great party schools out there.. Who cares which is "#1"?

Thats the only reason I claim it. Do I care? No. But it's fun to say. Does this rank mean anything? Fuck no. But I guarantee if your school was up there, you'd say it all the time as would all the other students at the university.

I'm still extremely skeptical of those numbers, even for under represented minorities.

I go to Bates College in Lewiston Maine. Academically, its pretty hard to get into, but a step under the Ivies and top-tier (Amherst, Williams, Middlebury) NESCAC schools.
We're about 45 minutes from Sunday River, and an and 1:15 from Sugarloaf. Those two, along with Loon do a season pass for college kids with no blackout dates for ~350$, which is a steal. On any given weekend, you should have no trouble finding people to go ski with, although I will note that there isn't a huge park scene here, so if you're just looking to lap the park all day, expect to do it alone.
Overall I love the place, academics are great, I've truly met some awesome people there, and they really seem to be moving in the right direction(new president, well thought out campus expansion plans, emphasis on increased student interactions with Lewiston, ect.) Feel free to ask me any questions about it.
