Which college do you go to?

Bowdoin College... small school, lots of work, food is amazing, partying's not that sick but the people are awesome and I can ski and surf basically everyday. when I'm not in the lab for 6-7 hours. I'm a senior so hit me up if anyone has questions

Done with school but I went to the University of Utah. I liked it because there are so many outdoor activities since the mountains are right here, and I liked that there were so many kids around with similar interests.

Le Moyne College

lacrosse focused school and everyone grew up within like 5 miles of it

I live in Syracuse so I make the best of it bmx skate urban

Olympic College, across the water from Seattle. Bit of a drive to Stevens pass. Its a CC so theres a lot of jailbait, and guys fresh outta jail, and baby mommas everywhere.

Humboldt State, a resort is hours away but drive 20 mins and have a "backyard" sesh in the coastal mtns

I know a bunch of people that go to carlson.

I go to Bemidji State University in northern MN. I basically have unlimited hunting/fishing around me since it is in the middle of nowhere, never have to drive more than 20 minutes. It's also a smaller town and there is a hill 10 minutes away.

same, but im driving to gore for skiing because their pass is for gore and whiteface which works out well for me

Appalachian State! Best school in the southeast.

It's stupid cheap and ranked in forbes top 10 best schools for your money.

Campus is five minutes away from the local hill where you will get the most park laps in your life.

Plenty of parties and 420 friendly if that is your thing.

If you're into outdoor stuff and partying and skiing and live in the southeast then this is the place for you.

eh, we have a very young quarterback and defense. wait a year or two once our Q gets some experience under his belt. Plus we almost beat 12 ranked UCLA, so....(:

Hey now, you don't have to deal with a coach that constantly has seizures, quarterbacks that can't complete a 5+ yard pass, and a poor O line. i.e. Minnesota

depends on what you're looking for man, if you're into small personal classes where you're on a first name basis with professors westmin is the place. if you want that big college feel then definitely the u. both are sick.

It's my third year at Concordia but I just moved downtown. I've been going to Saint-Bruno and I think that's what I'm going to do again this year.

Plus we just stomped on Stanford and booted them outta the top 10.. So there's that..

However we do have to deal with a quarterback that has the capability to throw 6 interceptions in one game

Montana State in Bozeman.

Skiing is sick, classes are easy, teachers don't care if you come to class stoned off your ass. Food on campus could be way better, though there's a ton of good places around town. Plus if you feel like road trippin, you can hit up places like Alta or Lost Trail easy from here. People are chill and there's a shit ton of stuff to do in the off season. Public transportation is good, you can get a bus up to the ski hill if you're too hungover/drunk/stoned to make yourself.

Only problem is it can be expensive as fuck to live off campus, that is if you can even find a goddamn place to live.

you think bozeman is expensive?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

excuse me but wat. bozeman is cheap as fuck as long as you don't procrastinate on finding housing.

Lol don't go to Dartmouth. Even if you want to ski.

And I wouldn't get so sure about getting into one of those either....it's pretty much a shit-show based on luck when you have 35,000 people applying and less than 2,000 spots to fill. They are worth going for just cause, what's to lose? But don't be one of those "I wanna go to an Ivy" fuckers.

I would say that 95% of people who apply to ivy leagues (including this kid probably) are one of those fuckers. Seniors in high school wear the schools they apply to like a badge of honor now. Also as you said, all of those schools are next to impossible to get into. I had a friend with near perfect SAT and 35 on his ACT get rejected from harvard.

Whats wrong with working hard in high school and getting into a good college as a result? For all those kids who went the extra mile in high school taking AP's and getting the A instead of settling for a B, they deserve to be rewarded. You should be proud if you go to a good school because you worked hard to get there. Yeah some of it is a matter of chance, but for the most part you had to work your ass off to even be considered.
