Which college do you go to?

I thought I'd make a thread where people say which college they go to and what they like about it so there can be less "what college" threads. Plus half the info about one specific college in those threads is from people who don't even go to that school, or aren't even in college yet. So, what college do you go to, and give some other random info about it. (I'm guessing people mostly want to know what your grades have to be like to get in, how's the skiing, big or small school etc)

VCU

Deaths this semester: 2

Armed Robbery this semester: 3

Times Mr. Sloth has been questioned by police: 2

Number of gay NS'ers: 1

Number of straight NS'ers: 1

All you need to know.

I might be heading down there for a flight Competition in Feb. Our region's comp got cancelled cause of the government shutdown and the Air Force Academy would not have been able to participate.

On a side note, I go to School at Colorado Northwestern Community College. I am in the aviation program here and I really like it. The program is great, everyone is friendly and the instructors are very personal and the program is quite renowned for a 2 year school. The only downside is the town of Rangely is small and blows. Overall I like it.

Montana muthafuckin state university. Bridger bowl is 20 minutes from campus and has some of the best backcountry terrain in the state. Just get do e with class in the morning and go shred the cold smoke pow in the afternoon. Can't put a price on it.

Minnesota State University Mankato

Probs the most boring place in the world, I'm transfering next semester hopefully.

If you didn't go there looking and like a douchebag and planned on getting drunk six days of the week then you're gonna have a bad time.

Im assuming youre talking about Penn State

villanova university which is right outside of philadelphia

it is fun the girls are hot, and there are like 4 decent east coast mountains within an hour and a half

(big boulder, blue, bear, jack frost)

You're fucking something up. Theres 40,000 kids here, and we have a ski mountain 10 minutes from campus. We have hiking and camping right outside of town, plus 1000 different clubs and organizations. We are one of the top party schools in America, and also in the top 50 universities in the world. Believe it or not, there is fun to be had in Happy Valley.

Go get involved and you'll appreciate where you go to school a hell of a lot more. Even if you think half the kids who go here are douche bags, theres 20,000 other kids you can go meet and fuck around with. Sweet christ, this is the only opportunity you'll have. Make the most of it.

Where are you gonna transfer? And you just confirmed my thoughts of NOT going there. I'm probably going to University of MN Rochester.

I go to Columbia now for Grad school which I highly recommend. I fucked up in HS and blew my first two years of college. I picked it up for my last year and half then did a semester of peace core. I kind of pussied out and went to Argentina, if you have real balls do Africa, after going to the seminars I did not have the balls. My resume was unique and I am in the history department which is not as competitive but I love it and it is not a bad name drop. Feel free to ask other questions.

my brother is an undergrad at columbia. im applying to college now and hoping (praying!) i can get into dartmouth undergrad early decision.

Villanova... and it fucking sucks. Especially after spending 6 months in Europe.

No one go to Nova... my friends are chill, but they're the only reason I'm staying. It's gone to shit. Admin is fucking us all over. So mad.

Go literally anywhere else.

MSU Moorhead, literally all my really good friends go there or are close by. I went to mankato 'cause I thought the program I'm in would be great but I don't like it at all. I'll be transfering into graphic design.

The duck pond is boring as fuck.

I used to go to MSU.

Finishing up my last semester at the UvA right now (Amsterdam)

University of Miami. It's awesome to have perfect weather every week and be able to go wakeboarding every week. Also our sports are pretty boss

University at buffalo. Tons of asians and long islanders, shitty weather and subpar skiing. Parties are pretty good and it's the best school academically in the SUNY system so cant complain. Come if you like smelly indians

Georgia Tech

8th year here (5 yr for undergrad, in my 3rd and last year for grad) cant wait to get the fuck out(and move out west).

about ga Tech

School here is hard as fuck. Were in the middle of a city(sort of), and are mediocre/slightly above average at football (but have 4 national championships). There are no girls here. Our fight song has "hell" in it. When it snows here, I get weird looks skiing around campus. A bunch of movies have been filmed here recently(The Intern). I cant think of anything else of importance not related to food or beer.

King's College PA

All the Pocono mountains are in driving distance. 30 Minutes to BB, best parks up here. super small school @ 3300 students
