I was in 6th grade in 6th period. The school announced it over the speaker. The rest of the day was silent for everyone.

i was in social class when they anncounced it and i remeber a kid made a joke about it and laughed, then my dad came and got me when i was in gym

 
I was on the way to school in my mom's car and we heard about it on the radio.

let see, my sister was in high school, so it was just me and my mom at the house. i was getting ready to elementary school, 6th grade, when my sister called from school to tell my mom what happened. we woulda had no clue for at least another hour if she hadnt of called. but yea, my mom called me downstars and told me what was goin on. i didnt really get how bad it was till a couple days aferwards.

i wasnt informed that nething had happened until the last 10 minutes of the day.. i was in 7th grade then on the bus ride home all the kids frmo the high school were telling us what had happened becasue they had been watching it all day... thne i got home and my mom was crying sitting out on our deck... i watched tv for about an hour but it didnt really hit me about waht had happened until later that evening

I was in gym class, and my friend was running down the hall saying that the world was going to end. Then I went to drafting class and we watched it on the tv. I remember parents were starting to take their kids out of school.

11th grade, 2nd period french class...one of the gym teachers came in and turned the tv on right before teh 2nd plane hit and then by 3rd period everybody knew the principal made an announcement about it.

it was like really early in the mornin is sydney.. so freaky.. like no one knew wat was goin on when in 1st happened.. i remember that day, so weird at school, everyone was so confused..

 
I was in Earth Science, 10 miles from the twin towers, the billows of smoke could be seen from the roof of my school. That day my good friend Greg Dimmling lost his father and many other friends lost family. I was in shock and we weren't allowed to turn on the TV's because of how many students in my school knew people who were inside. That day changed my life forever

 
i walked out of my room and my mom was sitting in the kitchen on the floor crying, and then she told me someone hit the towers, i thought it was like a little plane alos then i realized they were airliners. i guess right before i walked out she watched the 2nd plane hit. ya i satyed home the next 2 days in front of the tv.
