I wish i could make my way out west but college and no money dont make it easy paying for flights across the country
 
Headed to big sky with the fam this February. Any suggestions on places to stay? Close to the mountain, clean, not stupid expensive but doesn't have to be dirt cheap, preferably....in that order.

Depending on how many people you have sometimes people rent out their timeshares of Lake Condominiums for their yearly fee which is around $700 for the week. My big cousin Ben and my aunt and my baby brother all joined my dad and I in one last year and it was huge, way more space than we needed and a 7 min walk up to the village. Or a quick shuttle if you fancy that. Nice hot tubs. If you're looking for more of a "hotel" experience I'd check out huntley. It's the older one but still clean etc despite horrible carpeting. Also nice hot tub. Bighorns are nice but can be $$ depending on the week, and you have to drive/walk to get to the hot tubs :( Can't think of any more off the top of my head. lmk if you have any questions, my dad and I have been commuting out there for seven years now for a week or two every month with different groups of friends and family joining us so I have stayed a ton of different places. hope you have a great trip!!!

Up on the hill the stillwater condos, lake condos or arrowheads will probably be your best bet. The hill condos will be the cheapest but also the smallest. The powder ridges will be the most expensive. Feel free to pm me with any questions!

I skate with a knee brace and it doesn't give me any problems! I just started skating this summer and am obsessed, it is the funnest thing. The only advice I have for starting to skate again is just get out and skate as much as possible, and you'll pick it up. Find your local skatepark, befriend other kids who are riding, and don't be afraid to fall a little bit!
 
I can't wait to move the fuck out of this town. I've put myself in a shitty situation and just don't want to deal with it, like the immature person I am.
 
So my boss made a post on facebook about hiring for this summer so like if any of you don't care about money and just want to have an awesome time, you should apply(to windells) and I'll put in a good word for you because I actually don't think there's one person here that I wouldn't enjoy working with.

yes yes yes so rad! I'm honestly obsessed with wanting to skate so I think I just have to go out and do it. my brace is a bit chunky but I ski with it and I've climbed with it so I bet I can skate with it! So stoked.

I know you're joking but like I swear the less I eat the less hungry I feel. If I wake up and have breakfast I will be starving all day no matter how much I eat and I'll end up way overeating. But if I wake up and don't eat until lunchtime. I'll easily get away with just eating a sandwich and a normal dinner and feel fine. It's so weird, I guess metabolism slowing or something.

Yup. When you don't eat your body goes into conservation mode. You burn less calories and take less in. Your stomach also shrinks. When you eat break fast you jumpstart your metabolism which makes you burn and take in more during the day!

She's in charge of office stuff so through her specifically would be an office assistant position. Pretty much an internship (before windells and high cascade merged it was an internship). Lots of communication between parents via email and phone. And we keep track of all the kids in terms like registration, forms and their travel stuff!

But they're hiring for everything if I'm not mistaken. Counselors, coaches, demo, camp store, kitchen(k crewwwww), media (photo and video), diggers, medics... I think that's everything hahaha

DUUUUDE YES!!! Camp sessions are the same dates this year so I can only assume we start June 6th and go to roughly august 15th. here's the employment page: www.windells.com/about/employment. Submissions/Applications open January 1st (roughly - was like Jan 7th for me) and go till March 1st (have to mail it in like two weeks ahead of time at least) and yeah! omgggg please apply hahaha

I get that. Hauling ass down the stairs without a bra is a nightmare so i have to hold them in one hand. Struggles :(
