i have this kind of genius idea. i think itll work, but as usual my inner voice is making me think it is the opposite.

went to see the fire works at 6 flags last night, paid 25$ for the gold section, open bar, watching fireworks. my head hurts and i'd rather not be doing all this paperwork.
 
Sometimes I wonder who I'd be if I stayed in New England. I miss the ocean, drinking with my dad, skiing in Vermont and seafood. That's the price of being stubborn I guess. I had a path cut for me, instead I picked up an axe and hacked my own with a big "fuck you". What if I just fit the mold I was given like a normal person? I don't know why people tell me I'm "different" but what if I wasn't?

i got a sweet deal on a new jacket, and now i have to return it cause its enormous. guess i shouldnt complain because normally things are too small. but fuck i just want a new jacket!
 
I had knee surgery and my left leg has been in a huge-ass brace for a week now. There are a lot of aspects about this that suck, but today I noticed that my left butt cheek is shrinking due to muscle atrophy. This might be the worst consequence yet. Take away my mobility, my independence, my ski season, but don't mess with my butt!!!!

flex it when youre chillen at home haha, my PT told me to flex my butt cheeks when I walk to start building up the muscles that usually quads and knees want to take over for (apparently my butt doesn't work when I ski which is why my knees are always so sketchy so get that booty workin before ski season)

also when I got my cast off after wrist surgery I had one skeleton arm hah, and all the hairs were black since when they grew back they hadn't seen sun
 
Just found out one of my midterms conflicts with an event that I cannot miss for work. Fuck.

The syllabus says no make up exams. Hopefully she would let me take the test early if I explain that it's for work. I got an A in her class last semester so maybe that will help. She drops the lowest grades of each midterm so worse comes to worst l I could skip it and use that as the one exam drop. Just really would prefer if I don't have to do that. Ugh - one syllabus out of 5 is out and I'm already stressing. Cool start.

On a serious fence of waiting for job offers (for cool jobs of course I wouldnt wait around for uncool ones) and buying a ticket to chile or australia. If there weren't possible jobs to be had / if I knew I had one starting in october then I would just peace out now. Not digging this post-grad life just yet
 
It's 5:45 am. I am drinking coffee out of a mug that says "Coffee Makes Me Poop" and it's my last day at one of those jobs thats created me nightmares for years. Lets do this.

I just had a dream that I was throwing up and I think it was my subconscious trying to tell me it wants to get rid of a certain inner feeling and I think I know exactly what it's about but I don't want to admit it. it wants me to confront the problem and rid of it

those are awesome skis. i got to demo them at Magic this past winter. loved them but I also have Viciks and dont see myself getting rid of those anytime soon

Stressing super hard about graduating from school..not ready to commit to a 9-5 but also don't want super low pay elsewhere because I'll be getting cut loose from parental funds.

Any advice or similar scenarios? I have a job offer that I should either accept or not within the next 24, low pay part-time but at a ski shop. Would need another job as well though..could instruct part time and think I could make it by.

I want to have a fun first winter out of college but ideally don't want to be totally broke and be able to put some money away, and also don't want to have wasted my parents money on getting a degree.

Life is an adventure. Do what you love. Get the job at the ski shop. Live at your parents' house if they live close enough to mountains/skiing, that way you can save money from not paying rent. Ski all day every day, work at the ski shop in evenings. Why live just to work and make money? Sounds like a pretty pointless life imo
 
I want to move to Idaho. I may have to drag my man by his boots yelling about how awesome it'll be. He wants to go too, but he's got more ties to Colorado than I do. It's time to go somewhere new.

It's gonna depend on work. I'm thinking sandpoint, driggs, or cour d'alene.
 
So you know how people take selfies at different angles and it makes them look a little different at each angle?

I wonder if that matters when other people see you. Like if you're a tall guy, maybe a short girl looks different than she does to another guy who is shorter.

So maybe thats why guys and girls tend to date people of similar heights- as in the people they date are all similar heights, not similar heights of their own. All my ex's were around the same height. Maybe there is a specific angle that people look best atand the people who are most (physically) attracted to them are the ones who see them at that angle...
 
Oh man... I have 2 very close best friends. One of them just lost her boyfriend to suicide 2 weeks ago, and now my other best friend has to put her 12 year old dog down. God damn. Life isn't fair.
