Finalizing next years season pass design within the next week
Ahh I'm so stoked. This is the first project I've been working on here. I don't even know what this position is considered. It's not an internship but it sort of is? I don't have a boss, I'm in charge of myself but I don't know. Either way this is such an amazing opportunity and I'm loving every second of it.
Never really did too much of this whole marketing thing but it's a lot of fun. Coming up with new ways to reach out to people who enjoy similar things as I do. Fuckin cool. I've been sort of anxious about it. I've never done anything with marketing but I'm slowly realizing I've been doing this sort of stuff all the time! Spreading the word on Facebook, insta, twitter, snapchat, even on newschoolers. I do it a lot, now I just need to collect my thoughts and organize them in a way thats appealing to a lot of people.
I've been thinking a lot of the ways to promote the stuff we do. I'm thinking promotional writing kinds of stuff would be really cool. I'm not much of a writer but I kind of want to give it a go and see how it works out! I get really stoked and passionate about things so I hope maybe incorporating that into writing could be cool. I wrote a review of the Inspired Movie Tour last September so I think I want to try to do more of that for the events we host?
I used photoshop throughout high school in several classes but I've been using new features that I didn't come across in high school. Learning shit is so fuckin rad. I love it. Just one project and I've already learned some new stuff. I can't imagine how much more I'm gonna figure out in the next year or two!
Reading all the stuff about members moving on to bigger stuff is so fucking rad too. Definitely is inspiring me to put my all into these things here at Schuss. For the first time(really at all) I want to work towards something I can be super proud of. I want to look back on these next 3 years with this company and see all the stuff I have learned and produced. Maybe if I work really hard at this, I could make a career out of it..? Might be a big goal, almost unrealistic, but damn maybe I could do it.
God I am so stoked. I've never had such an awesome opportunity and I'm just now realizing how lucky I am. Fuck I can't wait to see where this takes me.

I would have been able to ski by then, should have brought my skis out to Hood and taken those three days on snow I'd get.
