What's on your mind - Ladies edition

Who is it??

Im pissed off at my friend A, she and our mutual friend B are fighting/bad vibes in general right now, and A owes B a lot of money, I think its something like $900 (its for a hotel stay and flight tickets). A kept saying that she would pay back as soon as she had more cash, but now its been almost 6 months and she still hasnt paid back a cent. She hasnt even mentioned the debt, or a plan to pay it back. Shes always out partying too, and buying new clothes, so obviously she has money.

I just wanna punch her in the face. B has more or less come to terms that she'll never see that money again. People fucking suck.

People definitely do suck. I loaned a friend almost $4000 a few years ago because she was about to lose her house. The house that I did the closing on and informed her MANY times that she could not afford on her own. I have received maybe $600 of it back since then. And I just cut her out of my life so I'll never see the remainder of it...unless I feel like taking her to small claims court which has crossed my mind.

Thats so fucking stupid, Im sorry :(

Its just beyond me how people can act like that, with zero respect for other peoples friendships or for money in general. I hate being in debt to other people, it drives me mad with guilt. Even like when someones buys me beer at the bar I feel so strongly that I owe them that I try to return the favour as soon as possible.

I know that at some point in my life I will have to start loaning money (for my own place, a car etc), but even that makes me scared. I really wanna minimize my dependency on other people (and their money), being in a big debt is virtually one of my biggest concerns in life ever. Thats why Im so baffled over how people who claim to be your friends can act like this, its so disrespectful and asdfghjkl

/end rant

Like, unless its for something life threatning, an emergency of some sort or something you cant live your life without, dont fucking spend money you dont have.

Should I schedule a class from 11-12 MWF or take it once a week from 7-9:40pm?

I've never taken a night class so i don't know how i'd feel about them. I wouldn't have class until noon the next morning so I'm not worried about it being so late. What do you guys think I should do? Should I take it at night it to see how I like it? Or stick with an afternoon class?

Definitely schedule it from 11-12 and get it over with. Trust me, you will not want to sit in on a night class, EVER.

Gotcha. I just know at one point i'm gonna have to take one for upper level classes. I wasn't sure if I should take an easier class at night now to sorta see how it goes and to figure out how to make the best of it. It seems nice to get it done in one sitting but at the same time it's over 2.5 hours. It's on a Wednesday as well so I know I wouldn't be missing much of anything. I would probably be better off in the afternoon section though. The teacher for the afternoon section has better reviews on rate my professor too haha.

I want a black shirt/ sweatshirt with a Pink NS logo on it.

Ohhh NS pinkname shirts and hoodies. That would be dope. I'd wear that.

Confirmed I am going to either Whistler or Switzerland for fucking free next January. Oh my god this job is so fucking rad.

I rode Jessie's and filthy riches(mostly similar skis) and they were soooo fun! I've never ridden a wide ski before(Mine are like 85 underfoot) and After I rode Jessie 100s it seemed like everything made sense again.

I have the Viciks and am totally in love with them! One of the most fun skis I've ever had

haha welcome to the club! not sure I'll ride anything smaller than 100 underfoot again. currently on 174 TSTw which are 101 underfoot for all mtn and VJJs which are 116 for pow days. crazy to think I used to ride skis that were like 83 underfoot. Granted, I don't ride park as much anymore but don't see myself getting a smaller ski again. I do ride women's skis though, cause Armada makes bomb women skis.

I'm not sure how I'd like wider skis for park and I wasn't allowed to hit park on them. I've heard both good and bad, but I think for now I'm gonna stick with narrower skis for park. I don't mind girls skis. I've never had any problem riding them and I couldn't give a shit about graphics so idk.

I don't know any reason why you wouldn't be allowed to hit the park in wider ski's... a few laps wouldn't hurt but if you know you definitely will be posting there for the day I guess that's a different story. If you're not used to rocker I find that landing on less ski hurts my legs a little more though haha. Of courses rails or boxes would have their same quirkiness as well.

Anyway, I think you're riding a 89 now... I doubt you would difficulty moving to 98-100! A little bias here.. I am all for the move for more space under foot!

It was because the Jessie's at the on3p demo weren't park detuned and I was told not to take them in park. But I took the filthy's(almost the same ski) and they were sickk! I think next year I'm gonna actually try more wider skis and see how I like it! I've been taking trips out west yearly so I think it would be a good idea to invest in something wider!

I'm in love with my 174 tstws. Only womens skis I've had or ridden that perform so well no matter what terrain I drag them over. The only reason I didn't buy the men's one was the graphic honestly, they just look so good.

Do it and you'll never look back. I have a whole quiver of nothing but men's skis. I just bought some Rossignol Scratches for the park and they are awesome, possibly the best park ski I've ridden. I didn't think I'd ever find another park ski I loved as much as the old full camber Atomic Punx.
