What's on your mind - Ladies edition

I get super caught on the thinking everyone is better than me at everything and it stops me from improving, especially in park. Today, I kind of decided I'm over that. So yeah. Girl Power.

first day skiing yesterday! now I'm sitting in a boring mall at a swedish ski resort waiting for the keys to the place I'll be staying this weekend. too tired to manage to get anything I actually need to do done, too bored to not complain about being tired :D

So many people bitching about the lack of open terrain here. It like come on, its ma'fuckin ski season get stoked.

Lesson to the wise; Don't go to 3 different Universities then try to get transcripts from them all to send to a 4th. It's a pain, and it takes a lot of time, and a lot of money. Just go with one and stick with one.

That being said, I wanna finish with degree damn it.

for the first time since August I feel completely calm. Damn. Feeling anxious and stressed has become so normal it feels empty now.

You push away everyone close to you because you don't want to hurt them. You said this regarding your family a while ago and now its me. I'm flattered that you care about me enough to want to protect me from that but it sucks big time.

I got a few last year. One in each ski today though, guess I should have listened when people said Big Sky is tough on the sticks.

I dreaming about skiing nightly. I'm trying not to think about how much snow we'd have if this rain had turned into snow... damn

i miss tahoe. i especially miss tahoe after skiing ice at stowe, then coming home and finding out a big storm is heading their way. snow here too though so it's all good

Dear Mr. creepy base ops man. I am not going to sleep with you, now, ever, or in another lifetime. How did you get my phone number, my fantastic butt is not your business, and I will throttle you if you keep this up. Please leave me alone. You are completely batshit insane, I may be a blonde lifty but, I'm not dumb. I do not believe that you are a hacker who turned down a job at google because they're "evil just like Obama" you're just a fucking lunatic. I'm trying my best here but, you really are missing obvious signs that I hate you.

STORIES MINGGGYYYYYY!!!

Chubz wrote an article about it that tells a lot. But holy shit. My friend crashed her car 3 minutes from the hotel and we almost got arrested for weed. We slept 5 wide on a queen size bed(wasnt as bad as you'd think). We met up with bishop, sam(turner), and Travis and Rode with them all day. Also met at-at and g-roff( I think that's his ns name) After skiing we went back to the ns house and had a few beers. Then headed back out for r2r finals. Drank some more beers there and hung out with everyone. I met LJ Strenio, steve stepp and Ian Compton. Super fucking rad. Then we went back to the ns house and hung out with the fuckin tabernak pack! I did a couple shot skis with them.(fuckin fangirled inside a bit) also met tall t Dan, Jwenz, nutz, and some other ns'ers. Jwenz ordered like 5 pizzas while laying on the floor drunk as shit. It was hilarious. Then we all piled into a cab and went to this huge ass house party. Everyone was there. All the girl competitors, all the guys as well. It was so chill but I barely remember it.

So that's a pretty short summary of what happened. I'm still in awe. Like that was a once in a lifetime kind of thing and I'm so stoked about it. 10/10 would do again, and again, and again.

Quick rant-midwest probs...our hill only has 3 runs open on our WHOPPING 300 vert yet i still make the 45 minute drive out there every day after class (and during exams) to go ski. Why? I don't really know. I'm bored as fuck. Can I please just get my degree and head west already -_-

Bringing my short skis up today bums me out, but I'd rather wreck them than my nicer ones. Also gonna try and trash thrash the Armadas.

In my short time being a NSer so far, I have noticed that a lot of the guys get vicious and conniving with each other in forums....it's kind of scary and intimidating. Shoutout to all the girls who are just here to support each other and help out us newbies without being judgey. Ya'll are the real MVPs

Ladies, if you're not using coconut oil for shaving cream, make up remover, moisturizer, and everything else... then you are losing out on how smooth you can really feel. Plus, in 15 mins I save a load on my cosmetics bills.

Exactly! It doesn't clog your pores or dry out your skin, and it removes make up so easy without any black residue from eyeliner. It only takes a tiny bit to do it too, less than 1/2 tsp. I use it as my moisturizer too, since it's an oil it tells the oil receptors in your skin to stop producing so it keeps your skin balanced.

Plus shaving with it, my legs feel like a baby's bottom and it helps with razor burn.

I'm obsessed.

shit, count me in on that. is there a specific brand you recommend or are they pretty much the same?

So I literally buy mine in the cooking oil section. It's important to read the label to make sure it hasn't been refined or mixed with other oils/ materials. I get organic extra virgin pressed. If they add things to it, it can seriously mess with your skin. The company I have right now is Spectrum. You should definitely give it a try, and if it doesn't work for you, then you've got a great cooking oil ;)

Is a 12ft cliff considered big? I honestly have never hucked a cliff before today so I don't know how it compares. It was fun as hell though. Never thought that existed in WNY.

It feels so good to be done with the semester. I don't know how to explain it. It's just so nice. I seriously can't wait to go back to work tomorrow and my best friend comes home tuesday! So excited!!

Also, my trip to brick is in a month from today. i am incredibly stoked. Life is so good right now(:
