I guess Ill write about this.
I've skied: 183 gotama, 189 kahunan (same ski, different topsheet as made'n), and 189 SV.
189 Made'n: this skis is very soft, very round flex. For powder I can see it being fun, but you are a pretty big guy. you will overpower this ski alot.
189 SV: I liked this ski.....but it wasn't what I wanted for everyday. I could over power it too easily. Could have been the +4 mount, but ski just didnt do it for me. too turny, tip dive. it was just ok.
183 gotama: I rode these AT, mind you. I felt this ski was as stable as the 189 sv, but you have the remain foward on it. the tail is short due to the mountin point and the twin is huge, so there isnt a lot of tail. at speed I like it about the same as the SV, but it was better in tighter spots too.
the 190 will of course ski longer.
you are a big guy, though.
out of these 3, I would get the 190 gotama.
But - there are better skis out there, IMO.
191 Ants seem like they would be great. They are light, but are more than capable of charging and floating in pow.
Mojo 105. Head makes some bomb ass skis right now.
189 Squads. not very jib-oriented, but these skis fucking rock. You are tall enough to get the 194 too, but the 194 is stiff. seriously stiff.
ummm...
on3p. the 190 octogon would be sick, but you'll have to wait awhile for it to come out.
if I were you, get the ants. as of yet, ive only heard of one person not loving them and it was cause they were too soft!! Granted...this guy also enjoys skiing on some 190 igneous 270!!! Fats, which have a turn radius of about 70m (translation - no turning at all).
