having a park on that trail on spruce sucked. I say either have all the parks on spruce, or none, cause it's a huge pain in the ass to get over to spruce (Yes, it is only one lift ride away but its still annoying). north was the only park worth skiing this past season.
with that in mind, north was mad crowded. I've said it before ,but it was sketchy and dangerous if you wantedf to hike stuff on north. espically those first jibs caues you had to hike into the landing of the jumps. it sucked, and I got yelled at/almost hit a LOT. and I was careful and had a spotter most of the time! with that said, make north a small(er?) park. unless you can go further down the trail, then I think you should take a line out of north slope in order to have more room and more flow. last season was my first season at stowe, so I didn't know what tyro was like. it's a pretty mellow slope, so I think it'd be good for a medum park or a rail garden? to be honest, I dont know where I'd put the "big" park. I didn't really explore spruce much but maybe there's another trail over there to put a bigger park on? I'm having trouble thinking of somewhere to put a big park on mansfield.
I think the most important thing is to have a park staff to keep the features in shape and to change the features up often. if that happened next season, then I'd be happy with leaving the park on north and maybe tweaking the big park on spruce. I had fun on north slope it just couldve been swiched upa nd kept in better shape most of the time. so yeah I say keep the featueres in shape and change the park up a lot more than anything.
