What is the nicest thing a stranger has done for you?

2 days ago it was about 930 at night at my community college, and it was pourin rain, so my class was over and i ran to my truck, when i got to my truck i heard someone crying and i looked around and i saw a girl with a flat tire, so i drove over and i got out, She had dropped her phone in a puddle and so she couldnt call anyone. So i got out and told her to sit in her and use my phone to call her parents to check in, while in the rain i changed her flat. I was soaked, but the feeling of helping someone surely made it worth it

I've given lost wallets and a cellphone back. It's a good feeling.

I've had assorted lost things returned, so thankful.

Last year I was going down town after a railjam and this chick came over and gave me a hug, because she said I did terrible in the railjam and she felt bad. I wasn't in the rail jam haha.

I was skiing out in Waterville on a ski trip with a good friend of mine. It had previously rained the other day and temperatures dropped causing for ice that makes midwest ice even look amazing. It was so bad we were just skiing runs cause just landing of rails hurt, then when we were just riding runs we would just slide down on our bellies cause you would get going so fast. Well at the top about 500 ft from a chair we were on some empty run and saw a ski just sitting on the side and debated on whether or not to take it and left thinking maybe somebody was pissing in the woods, even though one ski doesn't add up to that. Well sure enough we ski down and some tourist obviously not an experienced skier was further down maybe 400 yards and I felt guilty leaving him there. So my friend stayed with him well I hiked back up which took like half an hour no joke cause footing was horrible and I kept sliding down. Sure enough I did it and felt great about it. The guy was so stoked he offered me twenty bucks and I insisted he kept it but after he kept insisting I took it, which made my day cause I brought a lunch that day that was not made by my mom so it was horrible and I got to eat over priced chalet food that day. He made my day, I helped him out so I guess it really wasn't that nice of me.
Sparknotes:Icy day, guy loses ski, I ski by, see him, hike up, bring him his ski, gives me 20 bucks

honestly, i cant remember when a stranger has done something nice for me. but a few weeks ago i bought a homeless guy a coffee. although its a small gesture, i still felt great after. and just a note to anyone that has found a phone/ipod/walllet at a resort, HOLD ON TO IT. find out who owns it by going though it. call em and arrange for them to get it from you. a lot of the time when you turn them in at the lost and found, they just get taken by employees. i found a phone and the guy texted it asking for it back. i gave it to him and he gave me a twenty just for returning it.

yes, +k for sure! I'm sure he appreciated that a ton, that's such a great thing to do for someone. I always try to be nice to people, but this makes me want to try that much more.

i was pulling out my phone on the lift to see what time it was and i dropped it... by the time i skied down to retrieve it somebody had already taken it.. turns out the guy who picked it up called my dad from my phone and told him he had my phone and asked where to meet me... my dad called the friend i was with and let me know.. so i met the guy at the lodge and got my phone back.

that was like 5 or 6 years ago... but this summer i was at a concert and some girl left her phone in the bathroom, so i did the same thing and got it back to her within 15 min.

oh and i don't know how many times my family has stopped to help drivers that slid off the road when coming home from ski races.. at least 5+ times. my dad helps everyone, he makes me want to help everyone

i work at a candy store and kids always come in to buy candy but a lot of the time they are a dollar or less off the price, i always pull from the tip jar and make sure they have enough to buy their candy.

i put my car in the ditch on a snowy road when i was about 16. i was too scared to call my dad, and i wanted my car out of the ditch, so i knocked on the only house within a few kilometers at about 8 in the morning asking if he has any ideas. i hate asking for that type of stuff, but i was so desperate. anyway, he drove down the road to a farm, grabbed chains and pulled me out. he probably didn't want to, but didn't say no.

a guy gave me $3 to pay for a # coin I lost that i needed to get my skis from the ski rack. He was really nice, I wanted to hug him, but he wasn't to stoked on that.
I went back and capitalized that I up there ^ just for you NS

i try to do as many nice things as i can, i belive in karma haha.

one of the nicest things i think ive done is when i saw an old lady by a curb lying down, i ran over, helped her up and get home, then i ran her mail over to her neighbours like she was trying to do, lol she ended up being 90

one of the nices things id say umm, i got the corner of a sign (like a metal sign in a parking lot that says no parking) in the head and i was bleeding like crazy, i was like 12. we were in a pet store just before this accident so we went back and the pet store owner put stuff in my head that would make it hurt less and did as much as he could to treat it, i cant remember everything because i was young but it was very nice of him

instead of asking somone i might have potential relations with, im asking my freinds foreign exchange student to homecoming. Im hoping it makes her year (everyone said it will), i just hope its worth it in the end. should be a fun night regardless of my date. shes pretty hot though.

nicest thing done for mee would have to be when i was 4 or 5 and i got lost in one of the big stores. i went to the shoe section and thenice lady there stopped my wailing, gave me a stamp and made me not scared for 20 minutes (felt like forever) until my mom came and found me.

Found an Iphone, belonged to a chill african american in a thunderbird, went to shake my hand and slipped me a 20 and gave me a nice wink, he was chill as fuck.

So I work at sport check as a part time tech and this summer I had this mom and her daughter come in with what looked to be a 10 year old bike and they told me that her daughters bike was just stolen from thief front lawn... They didn't have money for brand new bike so they settled for a 5 dollar garage sale bike, when they brought it in it had 1 flat tire so I charge them only for a new tube and change the tire for free. she also asks if I can try and clean the bike up a little since it wasn't looking to sharp from thus garage sale so I'm like ya no problem. So they say they will be back in an hour or so and I set off on making this bike As good as it can be. I so a full tune and even clean it.. It was starting to look really nice too. When they came back the girl was so happy for her " new bike " and the mother asked what I she owes me and I say nothing at all, so she looks in her purse ands pulls out 7 dollars and she said this is all I got, I said don't worry a thing since she already paid for the tube and she was so grateful and I know I made her day, itactually kinda made mine too

lost my wallet with 250 bucks at northstar in february. in april i got a box with my wallet and all my money in it, with a note saying that they found it after the snow melted, and that it must have gotten buried in the snow or something.

i was absolutely amazed.

one time when i worked at ritas this whole family with like 4 or 5 kids came and ordered a bunch of food then went to pay with a credit card. our machine was broken and they had no cash. i gave them about $18 worth of free ritas.
but the best thing a stranger has done for me is probably when i left my brand new scotty cameron putter on a green first time using it. some old folks grabbed it up for me.
