What is an underflip?

This might sound like a really stupid question but I cant figure out what a underflip is

go off a jump, turn 90 then do an lincoln loop with your head going back up hill, then after that turn another 90 and land switch.

is it sorta like a sideways backflip

i.e. hit the jump, turn 90 so you are side-on then do the same movement as a backflip then turn another 90 when you come around?

its not the same movement as a backflip, its like an invert on your side

i read somewhere that you it it forwards, then u turn 180 right off the jump then do an inward frontflip and land switch

no, you spin under neath, into the jump. its not a hard concept, especially after the video

it depends which way you spin the 180, a left lincoln to left 180 is an underflip, while a left lincoln to a right 180 is a rodeo and vice versa... its not as textbook as this but thats basically how it works.. watch some videos
