What is a brand that has good gloves.

I got a pair of gloves this season that were really shitty and they broke right away. I wanted to know which brand has the best gloves.

First off, gear talk in the future, but no harm.

What do you want? Fully insulated gloves, park gloves?

As mentioned before, hestra, swany and dakine all make great products. But in my opinion get mitts! I am definitely willing to sacrifice a little bit of functionality for the warmth mitts give

i have koombi captn freedoms, and they llok coll but are kinda heavy, and i also have black diamond mad max's, and i love those things to death.

honestly, I got a pair of $20 insulated leather work gloves for this season, and a bottle of waterproofer.

Best gloves I've ever owned. Hands stayed warm all season. Gloves held up like a champ (I work park crew for a major resort). They have over 110 days on them. Worth every penny.

If you're looking for a solid pair of park gloves, or ski with spring gloves year round like me (my hands get hot fast), look at the First Drop gloves. They're cheaper than most spring gloves, and (in my opinion), pretty damn good

they seem like they'd be colder than the vertical cut freerides? I've been wanting to get one of the two and can't decide. luckily i have all summer to.

Hestra. If you can afford to drop a hundo+ on a pair of gloves, do it.I own a pair of Dakine Conbras. Solid gloves. Super warm. I have had no problems with them this season. They have kept my hand warm in the teens. Although I have heard Dakine's lower end line has durability problems.

Hestra!

My hands overheat quickly regardless of the weather so I picked up the Hestra Xtra Fits, leather construction with a Gore Tex insert and no insulation. By far the best gloves I have ever used.

Celtek Mittens. 40$. warm like no other.

As if not enough people have already said it, I'm definitely going with Hestra on this one.

Hestra hands down make the best gloves on the market. If you live in the PNW or where it's wet most of the time, get the XCR short or mitten depending on your preference. Everywhere else, you can't go wrong with the Seth lobster claw.

mine are being shipped back to hestra hq because the damn zipper broke and it keeps falling off.

still ym fav glove tho

I'm getting hestras next season due to their raves and they feel great on my hands, and my gloves now are getting too small. However, right now I'm using some (don't hate me ns) burton goretex liner style gloves, and I have NOTHING bad to say about them. They've been warm, dry, and very comfortable.

Marmot. Super good quality and really warm. And if you want spring gloves they have sick spring gloves with super dope grip.

I dunno, I used shitty $20 gloves for the longest time before investing in Hestra, I just had three pairs in my car and I'd change them out during the day as the gloves got wet from snow, sweat, etc.

Skiing in the PNW is different than most everywhere else, and its worse for me because I guess I get really warm from skiing. Waterproofing, venting, layering, thats the bible for out here.

Dont get me wrong though, they're amazing gloves, and its not a pain to take them off when you're hiking. Above and beyond surpasses anything I've ever owned in terms of waterproofing, fit, warmth, etc... now if they only made a Morrison PNW with strategically placed vents, or even bum glove style flip back fingers... hmmmmm....

I have two pairs of levels and one pair of ziener mitts. Those thicker levels are soo crappy!they ripped in about one month, are heavy and uncomfortable. Level suburban golves are light, they have a good grip, but they aren't really waterproof. But those zieners are soo good! they are pretty thick but super comfortable.

i'm honestly not that impressed with my hestras. picked up this years seth pros in black sometime in early march, and all i can say about them is "eh". They are good gloves, but something about them just seems off. Prior to the hestras, i was riding with a pair of dakine vestra gloves(all gortex/leather) and they were the shit(and cost me about $40 less).

NS should start checking out Reusch gloves, they are huge in the race world, and in my opinion make better gloves then hestra. I've owned 3 or 4 pairs over the years, and have always been 100% satisfied with the quality, waterproof, and durability.

I really think that hestra is very very overrated. I've owned a pair and they certainly do not live up to their waterproof claims. furthermore the local shop stopped carrying them because people were returning them for warranty like crazy because their hands were getting wet but hestra refused to warranty them.
the pow gloves that i owned wore through the thin goat skin in no time so i cant really vouch for them either.
the first pair of gloves that i have been entirely satisfied with so far are the Dakine Cobras (the mark abma pro model) they have full goretex and my hands never got wet, even in pouring rain. also, they were the perfect temp range. i never had cold hands when it was in the single digits (dry hands are warm hands) and never had sweaty hands when i was spring skiing. overall my favorite gloves ever.
