What is a brand that has good gloves.

I got a pair of empire mitts recently and theyre great except for the lining has a small hole in it after 2 days. Has anyone else had quality problems with them?

There was a problem with the zipper this year and I heard directly from Hestra that it would be fixed properly and it shouldn't be a concern in the future. Regardless, Hestra does provide a lifetime warranty which is something you rarely find with gloves.

Amen.
I bought these gloves cause they were on sale on department of goods. Until now I never realized how good they were. Not once did my hands get wet or cold, including those down pour days in march in Ontario.

Everything else is great, the fit, warmth, look except they developed a small hole in the lining and I was wondering if anyone had similar quality problems or was it a one off.

Empire may not be "cool" but my empire park gloves are holding up alot better than my Dakine park gloves. And they are way to small for me. They have stretched and I don't have a single rip or any complaints about them.

As far as cold weather gloves, I use Auclair race gloves. Super durable. super padded. I would recommend them.

I still say first drop is the way to go if you arent going to be in the mountains. The park gloves are fairly cheap and reliable bump
