What happened to line team

old news, but yea, i loved their team and how it was just some sick riders and it wasnt all these crazy competitioners. Regardless of whether or not they showed up at the x games, guys like mike nick and skogen were sick, great for the sport, and had sick skis. Mike nick is getting kind of old and just chillin now tho, but still i have his 03 model and its sick

supposedly they got ride of the pros for some upcoming riders....thats what i remember i think? correct me if im wrong...

line didnt drop the team for up and comers. i asked j lev at the ski expo and he said hell nah. i forget what else he said. jason levinthal what did you say?

cause line count afford to compete with companys that are paying riders more i think. line is still sweet though

line started sweet but it seems now that there big and famous everything's going downhill. ski quality, attitude of riders, PR (not on NS though) and the whole relience on their "image" has really pissed me off. Jason, your doing a great job at what you do, keep it up.

Too bad there isnt a way to make it so kids who are posers can't buy line. that would be cool and would line respectable again

yeah man i met him there too, i think they dropped the riders to kinda change their image to a more "common skier" and down to earth company instead of some high and mighty company with a bunch of pros i personally dont think they had to do that cuz they already were a sweet company and made sweet skis that normal skiers could afford and already were down with the common freeskier

I hate to be an asshole, but check out the search bar, or the line website, they have all the facts together

Attitude of the riders???? Unless you're a "tanner/ninthward" fan, ie a sucker for that "gangsta" crap and people who act like idiots just to get attention, then I have no idea what you're talking about...Line's riders are the shit, totally chilled.

Line is not big and famous. K2, Salomon and Dynastar, for example, are. Line cannot rely on its image to sell skis. Posers DO ride Line skis, posers also ride K2, ninthward, salomon, liberty, armada etc etc.

people can talk all they want but its all speculation unless levinthal confirms it. from talking to ski shop owners i have gathered that the binding they developed flopped, they lost a ton of money, half the team was getting toward the end of their career, the other half was pursuing other options, and the "common rider" marketing campaign was born as a way to keep their consumers on board. regardless of what happened, every brand needs a face to sell it. pollard seems to be all they have right now, and unless they can sucsessfully throw the entire brand behind him, i would say things aren't going particularly well for line.

destroyed in a firey molten magma pit when a dark derived devil swormed their soles until revenge bleed from their cunning eyes until the crimson abyss diminished before ones eyes

i dont tell lies to be funny my freind im a very serious person, so serious i never smile, unless i see a baby fall from a balcony or something

Okay here's the deal:

Most of their riders LEFT LINE because of the whole line binding issue. Line was forcing their riders to ride on these crappy bindings that double ejected for no reason, and they refused to let them renegotiate their contracts or use different bindings. Thus pissing off the whole team who said 'FUCK YOU LINE' and peaced.

I pretty sure your right but here's the team right now not counting YGO kids:

Eric Pollard

Ashley Battersby

Brandon Becker

Banks Gilberti

Ty Battersby

Some are Am's
