-yes, line skis are all the same, ignoring the side cuts, width, radius, length, core wood, tail height, graphics, and base materials. i guess that would make a pair of ARVs the same as 720s.
-yeah line made a marketing mistake with the bindings, but every company makes one.
-some of the skis are differant this year, there is now a pollard pro, 2 versions of the darksides (carbon + titanium), 2 new skis (fx.7 carbon + titanium, these are the darksides but stiffer + diff. graphics)also, the 1260 has carbon fibers added on the top of the core to increase ollie power
-yeah, there are new companies like 4frnt and armada, but they are just comming out and dont have the history of line
-yeah salomon has been tested more, but how often do they upgrade their skis, every 2 years or so. same with k2, dynastar, or rossi. they've only really changed their skis every 2-3 years.
(the only major change in the 1080 is spaceframe, 2 yrs ago)
(twinboards have been the same since the red ones (3 yrs.), only last year did they make the trouble maker)
(rossignol had the same powair for 2-3 yrs. and the scratch is in it's 2nd year)
(k2 has had the enemies for years, the pe's + pistols are in their 2nd year)
not trashin on these companies, but you cant say line hasnt upgraded, just look at the orange or white 1260s compared to the ninja ones, or the differant skogens, the durability has increased, as has the all mountain ability
