What do you guys want in ski gear that doesn't exist?

For me I want a boot that I can walk in comfortably and be able to drive in. I think creating a boot using the material used in Renoun could achieve a boot like that. At slower speeds its soft and flexible but with the increase of vibrations it will stiffen up and perform like a standard boot.

To me a boot that's built to be able to drive in just sounds like itd be a shitty boot performance wise

A foldable pole like those ones Black Diamond makes, but less fragile

This isn't important for many people but I don't always ski with poles, and I like being able to toss them in my pack with ease.

Would love to see some more durable poles and brakes. I would also love to see some pocket Sammie/burrito technology. It would be sweet to have a container for chairlift snacks, that stops your sandwiches from being smashed, but also soft enough that if you land it on it, it wouldn’t hurt. And that’s easy to open with gloves on.

Goggles that don’t fog and give me immaculate vision in flat light

Not sure bout flat light but i've had the same smith i/o 7's for like 6 seasons and they've never fogged once

Super futuristic but the idea of being able to change your topsheet just as easy as changing the wallpaper on your phone lock screen.

not really a skiing thing but nothing annoys me more than my phone dying in the cold after filming for a run or two

that is a skiing thing.

^This. And a 210 powder ski. I can't find a ski that's long enough without mounting way back.

More long skis in general. It’s hard to find a 190 park ski that I want to ride I feel like most skis could use atleast another size. I am 6’5 and 200pounds though so I’m definitely bigger than most but a man can dream.

Goggles that don't fog on me

A boot that actually fits my foot

Bionic knees for when I'm older

Super fast chairlifts

A park jump that gives you a green light if you're within the proper speed range and a red light if you aren't

So many people saying they want goggles that don't fog. Am I the only one that doesn't have this issue? The only time mine fog up is when I walk in the lodge.

-All zippers should pull up to open and pull down to close.

-Someone needs to address the shredding of pant cuffs.

-Thicker edges.

I want a ski that weighs 1500g but skis like it ways 2500g. Also a single midlayer, under shell over shirt, that could keep me warm on -15 days

I ski 100 plus days a year normally (not this year) and I’ve had my goggles fog once ever because I left them in my boot bag overnight with my wet gloves and face mask which is fully on me. What are these people doing with their goggles

Un-crackable edges. As I get further into engineering in college, the more I cry because I realize it won't happen

Yeah, imagine pedals that clip into ski boot lugs. That would be so fucking sick.

Also I'd like to someday have helmets that look like normal hats instead of being bulky, but perform as well as a certified helmet.

It’s cause darker skin reflects light differently clearly

No it’s cause people with moisture and heat on their face cause condensation on the inside of their lens when exposed to cold weather.

I definitely wasn’t joking.
