What Do Skis Slide Best On?

I was wondering what works best in the summer for your skis i have heard that astro turf works ,in/outdoor carpet,snow fence and my friend and i were thinking about getting snow fence but i was wondering how sow fence worked??

nop... better on snow than air. it's physics' thing. when taking speed, snow melts into water and makes the ski go faster. so air is bad for taking speed.

sorry to call you out but you dont know what youre talking about, speed skiers when they reach well over 100km/h actually come off the snow, air has a lot less resistnce than water and even if snow was faster the skiers would stay entirely grounded, but they dont. i win

wow you have no idea what your talking about, the reason you seem to lose some speed when you take off is there is more restance because people open up to prepare for the landing. if you stayed in a tight tuck you would continue to excellerate thanks to gravity.
