seeing as how a stock sti that costs around 30k only has around 300hp he porbaly put another 10k into it. sounds like bullshit.
 
dude my car would roast that eclipse...2.3 turbo...he says he doesnt even have a turbo in it not to mention it is prob only a 2.0....so I would take that thing anyday.

notice the hump on the hood of the eclipse, thats the turbo. its a dsm. it could rape your saab while raping its own transmission.
 
that hump on the hood was on every second generation eclipse...theres nothin there but air pal, just 4 looks...look it up.
 
turbo or not it had a purpose. it offered the needed clearance for the high-set motor.

on the eagle talon that bulge was to clear the camshaft sprockets and timing belt cover
 
my car would smoke the shit out of both of yours. 12.6 in the quarter. on rally tires and suspension (which make it hella slower). who cares though? what is this like a penis measuring contest or something? christ.

oh, and by the way... that saab would in fact smoke your car. badly. until you put a turbo kit on it, and even then it might smoke you still. no way you would jump to 300hp with JUST a turbo kit. a lot more would go into than that. done right, the eclipse would be faster than the saab though. hell, its easy to make that car faster than mine (in a straight line) if you got the cash.

my 2000 clipse gt has around 270hp. i put 2500 into it , with a turbo it would be over 300hp. do you have a wrx or something?
 
Aaaaaah sweet Europe, where fuel costs us 1.20 a litre (yes that's about 4 dollars and something a gallon). So I don't care, but it has to be small, a diesel, slow...as long as it gets me into the mountains

i have an 02 WRX stage 4+. and unless you modded the hell out of your GS, it has nowhere near 270hp. either way, who cares... its just a car. a cool car even.
