What car are you getting

I bought this 2 weeks ago. Ski rack is coming this weekend.

just got an 05 Tacoma Xtracab tonight. just got home actually...this things sick! well compared to my 95 jetta piece of shit
 
I've got a '96 subaru legacy brighton... fucking sweet ski car!

Not much power, but it's reliable, it's the shit in snow, and you can fit a TON of junk in the bacck.
 
93 toyota pickup as of now. just got a muffler since i was rolling around w/o on for the summer lol. i looked at a 97 saab but theyre so expensive to maintain.
 
02 WRX with stage 4+ kit (turboXS...bigger turbo, injectors, fuelpump, exhaust) some suspension mods, good tires, a ski rack, and 3/16th inch aluminum skidplates. Its a 5spd.

I'm kinda trying to sell it though. I want a 2000ish 4runner. I sold my 92 landcruiser for the WRX, and I would love it back.
 
gas isn't THAT expensive.

for what its worth, i have to use premium in my WRX and i get 15-20mpg. pretty horrible for a little 4cylinder subaru. its only a 2 liter.

of course, in the landcruiser i got 9-12mpg lol
 
Are all here rich or just daddyboys? I dont understand how u get money to those super cars.. Anyway im gonna drive my Volvo 240 85model this winter, RWD so its a nice drift car to..But i want a volvo 245 as the other volvo guy here.

with a yakima rack on it. and no, I'm not rich. It's my dad's, but he walks to work everyday (it's like 3/4 mile) so he says I can drive the car all the time, unless he needs it for something.
 
^See all that? That's why you're only getting 15-20mpg. lol. I've got STi exhaust, uppipe, downpipe and a Rocket Rally ECU reflash on my WRX. I get about 20-25mpg.
 
lol yea, i'm not complaining too much. i've got a bunch of other stuff too like a UTEC and a fully catless exaust (up/dp included), but i didn't think it was worth posting. i never got 20-25 on my WRX, even when it was stock. guess i am a leadfoot. i'd kill for a sixth gear.

and for the kid asking how some of us could afford super cars or whater.... without sounding too offensive, the majority of the people on this site are pretty young, but not all of us are. and the difference between a nice car for a 16 year old and a nice car for a working 25 year old is astronomical. i can't speak for anyone but myself, but i can afford a car the old fashioned way: i went out and got a job.

yeah okey I see, But to me it seemed like everyone here had a car that its frome 95 and up, and I thought that was kinda strange cus you can drive a car when you are 16 in US. But still, some of these cars are still kinda expensive for a 25 year old, but thats because I live in Norway and you have to use all the money you got on youre car here. And cars dont cost a shit in US i belive
 
20-25mpg is mostly highway, and its me trying to conserve gas. Sometimes that figure just goes right out the window. Oh, and I too would kill for a 6th gear.
 
I have a 96 talon turbo w/ 4wd. Very fast and should handle well in the snow, but just got it so I don't know.
 
Im not driving yet but im looking at an old 1970 Ferrari thats not working or anything to Build/Restore with my Dad. Get that when i get my licensce :)
